Pastor John Marshall is a great christian example. He comes to Winter camp each year, and preaches truth and hope. Even though we have a world wide crisis going on, we have the hope that there's a better day coming. Thank you being a inspiration to us teens at winter camp.

trump and Trumpet ARE different. I know he knows that. If you say last trump means trumpet you end up teaching that's the 7th trumpet of Revelation which means the church goes through the great tribulation. The church only has one trumpet. But we get several blasts from Michael the Archangel. On the last blast we blast off. trump is a blast from a trumpet.

Actually the reason Paul said the Lord was at hand is he wasn't just writing to that historical church of the Thessalonians. Many of Paul's verses are written to our generation. How bout It's high time ( midnight or noon both hands high on the clock) to awake... Probably midnight. Quite a few verses apply more to this exact generation. And honestly why wouldn't they? Didn't the prophets talk a lot about the day of the Lord? Why? Because God is most interested in the day his Son will reign on the earth and establish righteousness. It will be painful to bring it in but it is coming. So why wouldn't Paul have verses that apply to the rapture that some of us may be alive to see? Paul never one time taught an imminent rapture.
