I'm a 60 year old woman, & I still enjoy having a lil hamster in my home! They are simply precious, each with their own tiny personality. What's really sweet is once you've built your relationship, & they know that certain time that you are gonna come & give them your attention... They'll sit & wait for you. Like a dog, they know you do this & that, before you sit down to be with them. Before you know it, you're building a flourishing bond. Something you didn't think they were capable of🤗.

We had solitary wasps (potter wasps, mason wasps, mud daubers) in our garage (this was 70 years ago). They were not really aggressive - pretty much minded their own business. They disappeared around 1965 or so.

Can you potty train a hamster? Do hamsters need to be with other hamsters? What if you don't want hamster babies? Thanks and I enjoyed your video
@BeastBits3 ай бұрын
Thank you for watching and for your great questions! While hamsters can't be fully potty trained like cats or dogs, they tend to prefer going in one spot. You can encourage this by placing a small sand bath or litter box in their preferred corner. Most hamster species, especially Syrian hamsters, are actually solitary animals. They generally prefer to live alone and can become stressed or aggressive if housed with others. Dwarf hamsters can sometimes live in pairs or small groups if introduced very young, but it's not necessary for their well-being. If you have multiple hamsters, the best way to prevent breeding is to house them separately or ensure you have same-sex hamsters. If you're unsure about their sex, a vet can help identify it. I'm glad you enjoyed the video! Thanks for watching!
@annachristina65392 ай бұрын
If you live near a Petco or a Pet Smart, they're both very careful about separating the sexes. To the point that one of them (I think Petsmart) keeps one whole location Female, & another location male!

Recently, I saw a video where you could see a skunk spraying its spray without there being any predator, since it did it on purpose to mark its territory, it even shook itself to spread it better.

More in depth video would be welcomed. Good job though. We have bobcats and in my area they dont have spots. They have adapted to an urban environment and will take small pets for food. In America if you have rabbits and creeks near by, you have bobcats.

Not only can some wasps know each others' faces, but they can learn people and other animals as well. Wasps used to regularly build nests on my porch. They would learn me, my cats, and my regular visitors and would leave us alone. I could regularly be within inches of their nest and they were fine with that. But anybody new they would inspect and make themselves known to keep the new people away from their nest. They would leave my cats alone, but would chase off the neighbors cats.
