Pigs are smarter than dogs, and they need a shoutout on lists like this so people will think twice about eating them. Fun video though, glad to see rats and pigeons on here.

I love these little guys. Found one playing hide and seek on my lampshade. So quick. They look just like my niece when she was a toddler. Got him out and He is wandering in my backyard. I hope we meet again!

Fact #11, if you look at them carefully, you can identify which are the males and the females by looking at their jaw wattles. The males have them curved like if they resembled ears, and the females have them flat pointing backwards. Most of them are females in the groups because the males fight each other like roosters do. You can see a male at 0:41 , at 1:14 he's the one right in the middle in front of the group, and at 1:19 the one to the left that turns to the other side is a male too. The best example is the one at 1:46 where you can clearly see how curved the wattles are.

Slugs are cannibals and will readily eat a dead slug. Slugs are hermaphrodites. They mate once as a male and I will let you look up yourself why that doesn’t happen again.

I'm a food gardener and I love these guys. A lot of us humans have lost our desire to coexist with most creatures so whilst the slugs may eat half of my plants some years, they're essential to the ecosystem and I'm happy to let them help themselves.
@BeastBitsАй бұрын
Thanks for watching! Great attitude to have towards these little animals. What food do you grow?
@theKNIАй бұрын
@@BeastBits Mostly chillies but it can vary. The things the slugs like to eat are the ones with lots of foliage like beans, tomatoes etc but that's just part of the reason those plants produce a lot of fruit, so they can survive being ransacked by slugs. 😅

I Love having the squirrels around and feed them every morning I've got over twenty that come and get pannuts and hazelnuts. Grow sunflowers for them and have 4 nesting boxes available for them. Keep fresh water and fruit out for them. Red robin, crows and Blue Jays come to help them with foods.

I mean a marlin or sailfish can compete with a cheetah on land. 36 mph is a jog for a cheetah
@BeastBitsАй бұрын
Thanks for watching! I should have been more clear but was talking about over a longer distance - cheetahs can only keep their top speed for short bursts, with an average speed over a longer distance of 40 mph. Thank you for clarifying that.

Australia has thousands of wild camels. Brought here by the Afghan people many many years ago. We actually sell camels to the middle east.
