I’ve read complaints about the back of this harness, in particular at the bottom where the stitching has some sharp edges that dig. Especially with lighter clothing. Have you noticed this?

I've got Alpha X-33, and the VTM34. Love them both. But new alpha does have a new riser that is holding as good as the 34. Brace height on 33 is greater..Ive found that the HBX cam seems to roll over a tiny bit easier then my alpha X. My RX7ultra feels that way also to confirm. HOYT fucking rules.

Is the long side of the tent the sides with the doors or the walls?

The main body of the tent is a square then each side comes out a little as you stake it out. The main reason the sides without the doors looks bigger is because the guy lines are there to help bring the tent wall out!

The Sitka bibs look like they are 2 sizes too big, I hate baggy clothes like that. One thing is for sure the camo from kuiu looks way better haha even though looks don’t matter that much. Little things like the waterproof cuffs with the fleece hand warmers and fleece pockets make a big difference, wish kuiu did that too

I sometimes spot and stalk in puffy clothes haha so personally I think it depends how deliberate your movements are. Do you want to spot and stalk with it or tree stand hunt?

You need to check out the Proximity line or the Super Down Haven line from KUIU if you hunt whitetail when it's freezing or below. The Encounter line is awesome when it's a bit warmer and is DEAD quiet. I wouldn't go with the Gale Force unless you are in truly frigid and wet temps. I own a Proximity set and an Encounter. Good gear, and it should be. Costs a fortune.

Glad someone made this video. I wondered about this a couple of years ago and ended up with the gale force set. The price difference really did it for me with the kuiu being $400-$600 cheaper. Really love it for late season elk and moose rifle hunts or anything else outside in extreme weather but definitely to loud to effectively hunt whitetails in the late season

@BattleMountainMedia1 all good, I ended up ordering one anyway. Got it set up and a few pins dialed in. Shoots like a dream, amigo. I shoot a 45lb recurve and this is set to roughly 55 or 60, and I can shoot it all day lol

I have a bear adapt and I absolutely love it. I hunt with bow snobs who all made fun of me for buying an adapt while they all have high end Mathews bows. Every time we shoot together I either win or in the top 2. I understand there are variants that come into play with hunting... Speed, noise etc. but the bear adapt will kill with ease and keep up with the big names. It's more the hunter than the bow I say.

There ain't nothing wrong with spending half on a nice bow with good accessories than what your buddies spent on a bare bow lmfao. Never understood the hate towards bears lower end bows. I don't think they make a bow that's not good enough for hunting, aside from kids ones, but shit even those would definitely kill a deer set up right.

Proper test for extreme water resistance in harsher conditions would be submerging it as if you fell into water or a body of it. Pretty cool test for rain resistence on the other hand. Neat
