Why did you choose a butter bell over a bowl & lid type container? My entire life we have used an old pyrex "refrigerator container" (only recently learned it wasn't an actual butter dish lol) which fits a single stick cut in half but we never have to worry about the butter getting too soft or melting since it is essentially in a lidded bowl.

I don't think one is better than the other - the bell seemed to be smaller and more compact :)

@Mamato12_blessings-md8xw my children are use to the 'spice' of ginger and yes, honey is a great way to tone it down, along with the added soothing properties of honey! . I will see what I can do about a mid month grocery haul !

Does spelt behave like wheat or take a longer rise time? Do you have the recipes for your baked goods somewhere? And where did you find that mat you’re making the biscuits on? I’d love one! Thanks for sharing. I just found your channel and am watching a few!

Spelt is considered an ancient grain, it does act similar to wheat, takes the same time to rise. right now I bake using it: 50 bought flour/50 ground spelt or a 75/with 25% spelt. .. I do try to put the recipes and/or links in the descriptions as for my BIG silicone mat -- you can find that here: amzn.to/3ACWOG7 Thanks for watching -- I hope my channel encourages you!

@Mamato12_blessings-md8xw I budget $100 per person for the month (I do have to budget to keep some aside for our bulk Meat purchase).. if you buy ingredients vs prepackaged you definitely can save money using Costco! .. I have a $250/300 budget at Costco per month. and then have a weekly budget and I use that to also stock up on sale items. I hope that helps ❤️

I've never heard of cooking it first. I don't know anyone who does that. The whole point of freeze drying, instead of dehydrating it, is to keep more of it's nutrients. It's the only reason why I want to buy a freeze dryer. Eating liver raw is very common. They sell it in pill form after it's been freeze dried raw. It's why they are so popular, and work so well. Just letting you know is all. : )

My husband and I got a lot of grief from friends as we were raising our kids. We also kept in mind we were raising future adults that needed to be able to problem solve and survive on their own successfully. We wanted them to learn what they liked, disliked and believed while they were under the umbrella of our security. They are now in their late 20’s and early 30’s. Both successful in their own right. They always had chores, bedtimes, structure, routines, and rules to follow. Each season always has its own challenges and learning curves. But they grow up and move out before you know what hit you. And yet another new season with learning curve presents itself. You are totally right, slow down and enjoy the seasons and changes. Take the extra time to let the littlest learn. Be willing to do extra clean up so they can help. And always take time to listen to their hearts. I promised myself I would always stop, with in reason, if my littles wanted to chat or read or go outside and dig in the dirt. I wanted to cultivate relationships that they would be able to look back on with good memories. And I endeavored to make sure they knew they were loved beyond measure and meant more to me than anything in this world. I succeeded. Times were not always easy. And we definitely had rough days. But it was all worth it and I would go through every darkness and hard time all over again in order to end up where we are today. Keep the faith. And know that it’s going to be worth it.

Stacey’s tortillas. I buy the three pack at a time. I keep them frozen until I’m ready for a new pack. They freeze very well. I just stick them in my little crisper in my fridge when I’m ready for a new pack. They just defrost in there. They’re really good and I’ve always been happy with them. Tortillas are a gift to myself in the bread department. lol. I make all other bread items we eat.
