no doubt. Some weird anomalies for sure. The Base is slated for late deliveries and even with the $8k price tag for the Sasquatch package it beats the pants off an equivalent JEEP in price point(35's, 4.7 gears, Lift and Front/Rear Lockers) The Bad. No V6 in the 2door unless you buy the Stroppe and that model is nearly $80k. Curious to see how the 2025 builds shake out and if they put constraints on certain packages when the order banks open.

@Wheel2LiveOffRoad10 күн бұрын
To get the hoss 3.0 from the 24 WT. you are either getting the Stroppe edition 2 door only or the Badlands with Sasquatch pkg and upgrade to the Hoss 3.0 its an extra box to check and adds $779 or so. That’s the most comparable 25 models to the 24 Wildtrak Hope this helps. Good luck with your purchase.

Even though my 23 4runner has had many issues in it's 20k miles. I blame toyota cutting back on quality it's far better built than any of these new toyota models. 5th gen will outlast and is cheaper than 6th. If it's anything like the new tacoma forget it. Every model at my local dealership had horrible fit and finish with crooked rear bumpers galore. They can't even sell them.
@Wheel2LiveOffRoad10 күн бұрын
Yes, I drove through a larger dealer a few days ago looking for any 5th gens that might still be in stock but was shocked by how many Tacoma 4x4's were in stock. Many showing signs of poor fit and finish as you described but the price is absurdly high. I think there is an issue with quality and that might very well be why they are delaying the 6th gen.

Toyota needs to bring their truck pricing out of luxury car territory before they can be successful. Penetration pricing is necessary to fund and push inventory. This is not the market for novelty production.
@Wheel2LiveOffRoad15 күн бұрын

No assumptions were made. Even if scout hadn’t went dormant for 40 years we would still have a completely new vehicle. The real travesty in bringing back old models and brands is what Chevrolet did to the Blazer. Gross. At least the EV Scouts will be able to wheel and look like a proper off roader.

Felt like the 600 would have been a more obvious choice for the overtrail but this signifies more of an overall paradigm shift in the Toyota/Lexus world. Give the very expensive LX the best off road goodies with the hybrid (used now exclusively on the GX overtrail and all upcoming Toyota off road Vehicles as well. Saying to all who might be on the fence about hybrid, look what we just did. I don’t personally like it but they will sell and the more they can produce and deliver eventually public perception will change.
