Thick noodles are so yummy! Good video handsome. My dad would make chicken and noodles and potatoes and dumplings. Hahaha!😂

When you lowered the steaks to continue cooking, did you also lower the temperature?

I have the same smoker but my brisket doesn't seem to get as dark as I would like it. Are both smoke stacks wide open are partially closed?

I’ve noticed that many of these how-to-smoke videos never reveal the temperature used. For us newbies that would really be helpful. Not bitchin’ just asking.

Your daughter’s demeanor and reactions to you is a blessing to see. You’re a good father. My aunt made these noodles when I was a child at Christmas time, but she never would share the recipe. Thank you for sharing!

My gram always made these during the holidays, noodles and flour all over the kitchen table. She used beef gravy to cook them in. They were delicious!! Thank you for showing me. Her recipes are very sparse with explanation but now I know exactly what she meant and it all makes sense by watching you do it.

Okay so all was going well until I cooked them. Some got stuck to the bottom and burnt and the brother never thickened up. I put the noodles in the boiling broth and didn't start striking until I noticed some where sticking. Can anyone help?

This was a great recipe, but one thing you dont EVER NEVER do is put briquettes in your big joe komado, he just ruined a $1600 grill, very dumb, there is a reason why you only use lump charcoal, do your research, he might as just as well use kingsford lighter fluid too. Great way to ruin a ceramic cooking machine. I have a big joe and the was one of the first lessons I learned on what to and what to not use, PLEASE DO NOT put anything but lump charcoal in any komado style grill.

❤❤❤ EXACTLY the way my Mother always made them... even rolling them up... while they were still rolled up she would wrap in usually plastic wrap or sometimes wax paper and let them rest in the refrigerator before cutting them and she always added them to a chicken she had stewed and taken off the bone and the broth... one of my all time favorite dinners... ❤❤❤

I use one like this and found that the drip tray stays plenty hot even after you shut off the cooker. If you leave it on even at the lowest temperature it is too hot in my opinion to finish cooking without running the risk of over cooking. Also the meater thermometer can only handle external temps of up to 527 degrees. I have measured the temperature at the bottom of the oven and it was above that temperature often by a lot. I get a good sear on both sides at about 90 seconds a side then put the meat on the bottom with the broiler turned off. The steaks finish in the garlic butter in just a few more minutes. You can just keep check with an instant read thermometer like thermapen or use a wired leave in thermometer. The cook is so fast I prefer the instant read and keep checking it because is goes so fast. then pull at 120 to 125 and rest for 10 to 15 minute before cutting into it.

i got my first pellet grill for fathers day and got the sidekick to go along with it. instead of the sidekick sear box, i ended up getting the grill box because of the price difference. however, i cannot seem to find any comparisons of the two anywhere online. i figured the sear box could get hotter but according to grill box videos, its seems that you can also get the grill box to cook at very high temps too. anyone know the difference between the two?

am I the only one who sees this, but it looks like the crusts produced by these grills look uneven and burnt (not that the steak is burnt, but the crust looks burnt and uneven)?
@gerardocisneros795 Жыл бұрын
I'm in the market for one of these...what I've noticed is that almost all the videos I've watched the crust is there, but it's not "pretty" it actually looks badly burnt...I know it's just the visual, but still a bummer that I don't see an evenly seared steak, crust looks burnt on several sections.
