7:29 don’t mean to be rude but that’s a bell tower and not a chapel. Love your vids keep it up
@_WastedPotential5 сағат бұрын
Not rude at all I appreciate it! I had Chapel on the mind I guess because of Chapel Hill. My first dozen or so videos had barely any script so I made many mistakes.
Well done. Informative and enjoyable to listen too. RE: EMU. The stadium name is prounced RYE' near son. There is new turf, still gray, which looks new like gray carpet on TV. BIG story is that the track has been removed. Will link a photo.

Temple has a campus in Ambler. PA a suburb of Philly. I don't know why they don't build a stadium there. It's a nice area and last time I was there they had land to build a mid-sized stadium next to the main parking lot.

Nah chris carter is easily the Vikings best wide receiver
@_WastedPotential9 күн бұрын
Not sure why I never mentioned him in the vid. Moss has better per game stats than Carter did in Minnesota. Carter did spend 4 more years with the Vikings than Moss though.

I don't forget Rod Smith, but I think DT deserves to win this one. He is a legend, everyone loved him, he worked hard and never made a fuss in the media. He came from a broken home and still became an honorable man. He baby sat Peyton Manning's kids for heavens sake. Love Rod Smith, but my nod goes to Demaryius, because of all the off the field that made him so loved.

@brandonwalker9220 it is, but I got tired of this video getting taken down because CMU/photography companies like to copyright strike for the photos used. I haven’t been there unfortunately otherwise I would use my own images

Michie is pronounced "Mike - E". It catches a lot of people.

I appreciate that. I'll be remaking these college list videos at some point in 2025. I'll make sure I get that right in the AAC video. I'm sure some people got very annoyed I mispronounced that, so I greatly appreciate you being polite about it because most wouldn't be. Typically, the Army Navy game is usually the only Army game I watch on a yearly basis, it's probably been a good five years since I watched an army home game to be honest. Thanks again!

@@_WastedPotential No issues. Great video. Just wanted to let you know. Like I said, lots of folks make the same mistake. BEAT NAVY!

Yes you really should come see an SEC game at night in Neyland!!! I've been to every stadium in the SEC except for Texas. I went to the Tennessee/Oklahoma game this year so I was finally able to check that off my bucket list. I think Death Valley is loud more consistently BUT when Neyland really gets rocking and rolling it's the loudest I've been to. When players that have played in Neyland are asked what's the loudest and most intimidating stadium they've been to the majority of them will say Neyland. And a lot of them say it's a different kind of loud and you can literally feel it on your skin. So if you get the chance come check it out. I GUARANTEE you won't regret it!!!!

The Shewey Building has been at Joan C Edwards Stadium since it opened in 1991. The first expansion in 1994 closed off the south endzone and added more seating, additional seats were added to the south endzone in 2000, and in 2013 they redid the pressbox adding more suites to it. They removed some of the seating in the south endzone when they built the new video board in the 2023 season.

I was at that 1983 BG-Toledo game. It rained all day, but that didn't stop all 33,000+ fans from streaming in. At the time there was a large bleacher section at the north end and a smaller one at the other, which have since been taken down in favor of the facilities shown in the video. Unfortunately, BG lost a battle of field goals 6-3.

There is a reason WVU and ISU have similar stadiums: it is because WVU based theirs on Jack Trice.

The Ragin' Cajuns are getting a renovation either this season or next. I went there last year for game. It's a fairly decent stadium and seems to fill out for most games (great fans and tailgating BTW). Only gripe is that the stadium is definitely dated and needs to be updated - which, again, I believe it's getting.

It like the University at Buffalo tries to do the absolute bare minimum in designing and investing into their facilities - like they don’t even understand that their football team plays in a terrible climate. But nobody cares. Build a highway department garage in the end zone? Whatever. Like nobody is interested and the school isn’t interested in interesting anyone.

Huskie Stadium in DeKalb held 30,998.as its listed capacity before the end grandstand opened in the mid 90s. Capacity was still around the same. Seating on the east side actually stayed about the same. Seating capacity was reduced to current capacity around 2000 with the removal of the bleachers in both end zones.
