AMC made a very good product. I was fortunate enough to have a 1978 Concord and I repurchased again in 1981. Both cars were very good no complaints.

That Cadillac auto closing trunk lid never worked correctly again. For those that dont know, it was a weightlifting set that Dad had jammed into the trunk of a maroon 1975 Cadillac Sedan Deville that had bad rings and burned oil like a steam train, literally clouds if it sat idling. Hence the over the cliff comments about it

Wish you would tell us if the engine was the 232 or 258 six, three or 4 speed transmission. Definitely work on the rust before it gets out of hand. It will be hard to find parts for these cars as these were budget cars and no one would save them from the crusher!

it is a 232 3 speed. Totally agree about the rust. The guy who bought it first said he was going to paint it but when he picked it up he said he was going to leave it as is for his kids to play with. Hope it doesn't get much worse!

Enjoy that Gremmy! I had a 72 and i had more reaction at Gas station with conversations about it and what it was. A young man thought it was an early Honda civic... lol my videos with mine are on my channel. I really miss mine. Enjoy that one my Friend! Mike
