Doesn’t look like it’ll do a thing. Other than maybe the battery button, nothing else is being protected

The seam between the battery and the airframe and the area around the power button are the two points of failure for electrical malfunction. The motors are sealed electro magnetic, same as used on submarines and not susceptible to malfunction from water ingress. Same with the motors in the gimbal, so the only areas the NEED protection from water penetration are the battery compartment and power button.

It's been several years but I just purchased the DJI Mavic 2 Zoom smart controller. I have seen a number of unboxing videos of people getting theirs and they would get in the box a USB-C cable and a Power Adaptor. When I got mine last week there wasn't a power adaptor. DJI told me they don't include it. It seems when you pay this much for a Smart Controller you could at least put in a $5.00 power adaptor wouldn't you ?

Thanks for this I could figure out how to get zoom to work. But I think you have to set the color format to normal as opposed to HLG or Dlog. These two will turn off the zoom function. Discovered it by accident!

I am in process of getting this added to our website. For now, you can email [email protected]. The adhesive will re-adhere about a dozen times. If needed, replacement battery covers are available for purchase.

How much does this weigh, does it cut down the battery life due to the added weight?

The full Wet Suit weighs in at .75 ounces. I have not seen any significant reduction in flight time.

Thanks for the video, I had to rewind so many times just to increase volume to hear you because the music was way too loud that I had reduced the volume, I would say 50% reduction in music volume would be a minimum perhaps 80% reduction might be better.

Chris, I'm having a problem downloading video from my Smart Controller to my PC, the screen videos that I take of each flight. I thought the way you do it is to connect a male to male usb-a cable from the SC to my PC, but in Win10 Device Manager the SC isn't showing. (If I connect my Android phone to my PC it shows a device and I can download anything from phone to PC, easy peasy). I downloaded the DJI Assistant 2 to my PC, ran it's .exe setup which put an icon on my desktop. I opened that and it indicates that I should plug in the the usb-a to the PC but when I do, nothing happens. Is this the correct way to download? Thanks for the help, Bo
