The idea is super solid. If you can get the building to work with you I think you'd have a very interesting challenge to make areas different and distinct mixed with nature. Part 2?

To make a door you either make a path into the building or place a window on the ground
@CuppaSimsnStuffАй бұрын
I second @mikez1328 - I drew a path to the walls, and the walls became doors (archways if I drew the path through a standalone wall that was not part of a building). I didn't know about placing a window on the ground, though - thanks! 💖

Some tips from a pro,focus way more on foresters with all the iron and stone removed from their area,the gatherers and fishermen are best for food focus also on tools and clothes,focus a lot less on farmers i would recommend only put farms near foresters but not in their circle,use sheep and cattle for food and warm coats,you struggle because you have too many farms and too many houses and dont take in nomads ever

Very secret stuff in that cauldron. Avert your eyes from the forbidden herbs and books. GAZE INTO THE CAULDRON. Love where your head was at when doing the hidden area. Idk what would be on that computer but even i dont understand magnets so that may infact be it...

I love how elegant but separate and distinct each type is. Fantastic work. I can easily see your thought process/style coming across even in a short video like this. For instance the wide flare of the legs in the Earth teachers tower. I 100% know you were like "Oh heck yeah that's really grounded and hefty! That can hold some heavy Earth types!" Thanks for the video!!!

Interesting concept to use playing as a vehicle to think about what we'd prefer as a society/member of.

Yeah! Thanks! I think it's one of the healthiest ways we have available at such a time of change, when it can feel turbulent in the real world. It also allows us to play out experiments in virtual realities, rather than over real people, in our exploration of what we like.

My favorite video so far. I enjoy hearing the thought process of "solving" the puzzle of the space. The design seems amazing for 1 or even 2 people who are willing to make it work. Great work overall would pay above market for the trailer 😂.

Love how it turned out. Im curious to know what you think about adding a plant in the corner behind the couch in the "dining room." I feel like it might help even further make the space more distinct and keep the people in that area subtly more focused in that space.
@CuppaSimsnStuff4 ай бұрын
That is a Great idea!!!
@CuppaSimsnStuff4 ай бұрын
Actually, I want to revisit the previous response: 1) I LOVE that you were thinking of how to psychology differentiate between the spaces, and plants would be a nice cadenza to the living space, since they are on one end, so putting other plants on the other end can make sense in that way. However, 2) I don't think a lot of natural light will get to the plants, especially if they're behind the couch, which would not be ideal. And while I thought about lighting, I also realized that I hadn't included more lighting beyond the lighting that was there are the start of the video - bathroom wall lights, kitchen wall lights over the counters, and the lamp on the dresser in the bedroom. So while a plant might not work behind the couch, 3) Perhaps a thin floor lamp would be better behind the couch. That way the space also has better lighting when the windows don't provide natural lighting solutions, like at night. However, the lamp would have to be very thin, since there is not a lot of space. Keeping in mind each tile is 2.5 sq feet, the lamp would have to be very thin so that all dining chairs can still be accessible without compromising ease of use. Thanks for the response, I actually really enjoyed thinking about it!
