In the early 60s through 80s to 1986 Ugandans were relatively doing well , in my village, every family home who had a girl , she would be married and the family gets cows ,every had not less than 24 heads of cattle, they were abled to send their children to schools most of them graduated as Doctors , engineers , nurses , teachers , lawyers etc etc, cooperative societies were there. Lint marketing board , coffee marketing board, meat packers soroti , Uganda spinning mill lira , tobacco limited , leather and tanning industry jinja , kilembe copper minning , Uganda Dairy , starch factory, tea industry , when the NRM took over in 1986 , everything became history, no cattle in Teso , Acholi ,Lango , what we have now in the entire region is children who are smoking opium (marijuana) ,robbers / killers , rapers the entire generation has been destroyed deliberately

We had lint marketing board, coffee marketing board and Uganda tobacco limited. These were parastatal bodies that was made defunct by the current regime. The cooperative societies,Uganda railways ,Uganda airlines. These bodies were good for the country well before NrM.There was no reason to dissolve those bodies

Greetings to everyone who has contributed to this hot topic @ e Mwanyi. I've been following this development, listened to different reactions and contributions in terms of feedback to our dearest President, Tata we gwanga. I admit that all what was said is true. However I don't want to limit myself to this topic but rather highlight the problem within the NRM development framework. . President Museveni is one of the leaders who have better ideas in Africa and the Globe. For that I credit him because nkilaba. I work with a non government organisation, "I quote" that partners government in development perspectives. . Muzeyi bino byebikukyayiza nokubela nga abantu bakuyinako obusungu. 1: Lack of monitoring and evaluation of government programs. One time, I attended a coordination meeting which was chaired by the CAO of a certain district, when I gave in my submissions about teachers conduct in government schools towards educating children of the nation, the CAO told me that sileta lugezigezi lwewaffe Ku basomesa since I'm not their supervisor. In another incident, he called my colleague and told her that omunyankole oyo atumanyila, njamulagako this is Busoga region. 2: Weaknesses in the community development departments. Most of them tebamanyi byakola especially the community development officer s atenga bebavunanyizibwa Ku nkulakulana ye bitumdu 3: Most of the NRM structures do not know their mandate.
