@@clynton1 hi buddy! 🤝🏼 I honestly think I just wasn't ready to grow and didn't have the skill set's & knowledge required at the time. So naturally it ended up very messy and unorganised.. I've done a lot of work to upskill since and feel in a better place to grow it properly now from a business perspective and personally. I managed to cash in for my old business but not anywhere near what it should have been, all lessons learnt and now taking into the next chapter! What I have found is that window cleaning as a business model is pretty much unrivalled, keep growing! You'll come across road blocks but you need to find solutions to get past and don't stop 🫡

I like a mix, the commercial jobs are usually less fussy on weather conditions and can usually be done first thing which is the plus for me. But I’d miss the crack and coffee if that’s all I did. And Iv found they’re basically the same money, an edge for commercial maybe but inductions signing in and risk assessments and all that jazz just get in the way of working. If there was none of that it’d be great work

Is this worth it in the UK? Because I’ve seen the prices are so low like 10 pound for a big house

Yeah commercial comes and goes residential is king, I have a small commercial portfolio shopfronts et cetera but at some stage I’ll just go 100% residential.

Go cardless I can't see my customer using that. Am thinking of opening a business account. How do you get new customers I am looking for more work. All I can think of is posting leaflets putting in the leg work. Or i get the odd customser recommending me to a friend. Or get people seeing me working and getting a new job that way. Or obviously buying work. What other ways are there thanks boss

4 vans 1000 customers, how big are these houses ?
@Alohawindowcleaning3 жыл бұрын
A mixture of sizes buddy! Please note we aren’t full capacity for all vans by any means, this year is about building on that and pushing forward for more 🙌🏼 what was your thought behind your question if you don’t mind me asking?
@Alohawindowcleaning3 жыл бұрын
In some areas our average house price is £12 in others it’s around £16/17 so it’s varied mate 👍🏼
@Alohawindowcleaning3 жыл бұрын
Also one of the vans has my dad in and he only works 3/4 days a week so less customers etc

Yorkshire Pro Window Cleaning hi there what advice would you give me as I want to start a window cleaning business with my brother, also is it profitable to do so thanks mate
@Alohawindowcleaning6 жыл бұрын
Megz OTR Hello mate! Thanks for reaching out.. the advice I can give is learn everything you can about the industry, get good at the job then start mentioning your business idea to your friends, family and build up your first customers. Create social media business pages and post on your facebook telling everyone what you are aiming to do.. get basic tools or invest in the reach and wash system if possible! Be polite and reliable with customers and most importantly do a great job, take pride in your work and you'll have customers for life! And always.. think big 👏🏼
