Well said about technology - it is certainly a good thing if used it wisely. But people especially young kids and young adults are glued to thier phone now a days..which is alarming. First step to change might be is realizing the addiction and then act on it..

No, the Holy Spirit is not separate from the Father and the Son (you said that They are in Heaven on a Throne and that the Holy Spirit lives in us). If we are in sanctifying grace (free from mortal sin), then the Blessed Trinity, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit live in us. Jesus, in a very special way is in us when we receive Holy Communion...but the 3 Divine Persons are never separate.

The laying on the hands is done by priests and bishops. This is not Catholic, This is Pentecost. We can pray for each other but we cannot lay hands on each other. Ask an exorcist like Fr. Ripperger. If you are in grave sin and you lay your hands on someone, you transfer the demons on that person.

Yes, here it is: “Lord Jesus I thank You that on the Cross of Calvary you became a curse for me so that I could walk in freedom (Galatians 3:13). I come against every spoken negative word pronounced over my life or against me, either by myself or someone else. In the name of Jesus and by the power of His Blood, I break and cancel the power of these words and I declare them powerless over my life. I speak a reversal over my life right now. These words have no power over me any longer. I speak and proclaim the blessings of Deuteronomy 28:1-14 over my life. Thank you, Jesus, for setting me free. Amen.

In regards to the rules, when one is on a spiritual high, should they also not make a moderately big decision?

Hi "A", that is a very good question. One thing we would need to clarify is if it is spiritual or nonspiritual consolation. Ignatius describes consolation as, "some interior movement in the soul is caused, through which the soul comes to be inflamed with love of its Creator and Lord; and when it can, in consequence, love no created thing on the face of the earth in itself, but in the Creator of them all." In other words, when we're drawn towards God and all of our being is drawn to Him. In regards to your question, I asked Fr. Gallagher about it and he explained that if it is spiritual consolation and it is powerful and strong, that it would not be the best time to make a prayerful and reflective discernment-Ignatius’s mode three. Gentle spiritual consolation can help this discernment. If it is very strong, however, we are unlikely to have the “tranquil” space that Ignatius sees as necessary for good third-mode discernment. It is better to accept the grace of the spiritual consolation gratefully, but wait until more calm has returned to undertake discernment. I know this was long, but I hope this helps!
