Grettings from an old fan. Found some comfort in this little video to hear Norman pick one more time. The Old Brown Case was one of my mainstays. Thank you for sharing. Hope all is well for all of you.

Dad and Nancy are doing well. Dad plays every day. His doctor recently told him he is in better shape now than he was 20 years ago. His mind is as sharp as ever. Thank you for your post.

Wondeful to see hear what Norman’s mind is creating in his older age, this is a unique and meaningful folk song and the Spanish scale he is playing is beautiful. It’s very catchy just like all his songs. ginseng Sullivan, Randall Collins, and now Francisco Madero. A great songwriter and storyteller.

Norman saved me from burning my guitar. He said that if you couldn't play fast to not worry about it. Play however you like. Thanks Norman.

Absolutely. Play however you like. Norman was the master of touch and tone. He didn’t need to play fancy stuff to sound good, although he certainly could.

Great stylist in many musical idioms. A man that if you heard him play you knew him forever. Played for art not fame. A tree limb that bends only so far never straying from his roots. Just listen to him play & you will wonder where you have been. A gentleman.

Norman always seemed to garner less recognition than many of his peers. That has not stifled his skill or talent. He must know that the world appreciates his artistry. One hopes that people being drawn into bluegrass by phenomenal talents like Billy Strings and Molly Tuttle will have their curiosity about music lead them here. They will fall in love with Normans catalog. Thanks for posting!
