This is amazing seeing these run.The amount of wagons to haul all the Iron pieces is unthinkable and all the reloading after the parts were made ⛏️🤔thank you 🏆

I was at Inuvik in the 60's ,we flew in from Norman Wells. How's the weather eh ? Thanks for the video.
@MurrayLundberg2 ай бұрын
Ah, you saw East 3 / Inuvik when it was new - cool! Over the 4 days I spent in the Delta last week, we had everything from dark and dreary to brilliant sunshine, with temps dropping to about -22C at night and highs of about -14 during the days. I flew from Whitehorse to Inuvik, then a friend and I drove back to Whitehorse.

I can't help but wonder - is this one of the Dredgers that "Gold Rush" tv show person Tony Beets bought and ran.
@MurrayLundberg3 ай бұрын
No, it's not - Beets got his from Clear Creek and the Indian River.

1:47 Did you see the Bow Wheels Rotating when he pointed to the Violin Trios? Right on Cue.
@RockStarOscarStern6348 ай бұрын
1:55 With the invention of this Bow Wheel Ludwig Hupfeld solved the problem of the Bow. This Bow is equipped w/ nearly 1350 strands of Violin Bow Hair (tied onto the pins) & rotates at different speeds to get different volumes.

Today there are homes, some worth over a million dollars, overlooking that stretch of the river. A different world, and yet the river itself feels the same.

I have always loved fires like that. They are calming to me. I like to sit and watch the flames dance and the different colors. When I was a kid we would take bacon and cut a stick and hold it over a fire like that to cook it.
