So lovely to see. I'm a little like him----68 years old, and I keep dairy goats. We don't kill animals on our farm unless they're in failing health. So we keep our "worthless" males (most of which we neuter) and let them live their lives. It's expensive and a lot of work, but we love the beasts.

I will never understand, or accept the nose rings on these beauties. Seems very “old school.” Is it for control or aesthetics? I’m sure there is a better way. Something with the animal’s comfort in mind.
