Nice video. A bit rough with lots of things flying at you. But you came back into it quite well and made some great saves on your cores, and that matters a lot. As others have mentioned its important to cast your spells as a support before you get blown up, but that comes with good positioning which you can only get better at by playing. Was nice to see a newcomer's perspective, glad it was still fun. It can get crazy.

I usually see this Dota player 1st time playing league: Plays decent but loses because of no knowledge of skills. League players 1st time playing dota: Looks like its their first time playing a MOBA game

Well, at least that looked like a bunch of players new to the game... About the Juggernaut ultimate ability, there are some ways to avoid and mitigate it, but it is quite hard. You had Glimmer Cape and if you turn invis during Jugg ultimate, he cannot hit you. If they happen to have vision there, that doesn't work, but it usually works in the early to mid game quite well. Another way to mitigate it is to find a crowd to surround you, other heroes, lane creeps etc. Jugg ultimate will strike on "random" targets within the AOE, so some of the hits will then go elsewhere... You started to get the hang of things towards the end. I would suggest playing one hero a couple of games to get more familiar with their skills and what to do and what not to do... And you need to hit those heals on your team mates and opponents...

>can we ff? >getting wrecked by Bristle who does a passive aoe nuke if you hit his back >doesn't know what the heroes do Definitely a League player. I'm just teasing, but as someone who's played both for about 10 years it's very interesting to see the differences in how people perceive each game mutually. Dota's way better and complicated, just feels more tiring to play for me too. If I wanna chill and game I usually play League, but Dota is the coolest game ever.

great vid here man, thanks for this. really appreciate your comparisons, and your reactions are too funny. been playing dota since i was 12/13 years old, i'm 32 now and i still do four or so hours of the game daily, just can't live through a work day without it (I only play Ability Draft, lol). i've tried league before but decided, based on the graphics and the basic mechanics that it wasn't for me. imo dota is more of a macro-strategy game with some mechanical skill required. it's not as fight/clash focused as league. rather, it's more of an economic struggle. positioning and item timing are two of the most important elements of the game in terms of strat. this video was fun, i was feeling so frustrated and was waiting for you to discover that you could force staff yourself to escape. also got frustrated about that toxic PA not having lifesteal or a shard. typical blamer, lmao.

Didn't know this game had a sequel, very cool. Nice that they expanded the workspace too, in the first game the space you have at 8 minutes is all we got lol
ur really funny to listen to! hope you continue ur dota videos. gonna look to your channel once im done with this one :)

Just so you know, there is a Hero named Nyx and he sure like to remind you of it when playing him : ] Otherwise, I recommend less "on use items" and ward high ground areas. For new players its very easy to get overwhelmed with what to press and when. Combine that with never seeing the enemy turns every encounter into panic mode

As a Hard Support in high Rank this looks so frustrating ngl As soon as the Creeps(Minions) reach in this certain distance 3:10 Then it basically means you failed as a Hard Support Because the dude is new, this is bond to happen but the PA leaving that Lane is pretty much the best thing to do since his Warlock is new he will most likely never pull Creeps in camp and will never aggro Creeps during Laning Stage What he said 7:52 "Maybe it's different in League where you don't stay in Lane" is actually quite on point, in DotA it's actually good in changing Lanes and rotating especially when your Drafts is in Fast-Pace, Mid-Players also usually rotates to help out Side-Lanes Overall the dude is most likely be in Herald - Crusader Rank probably for atleast 2-3 months unless he grinds 8-10hours a day
@Oscar-j6bАй бұрын
19:21 That was actually a good play. Bristleback gets damage reduction if you damage him from the back. When you force staffed your Muerta Teammate infront of him, she managed to kill him faster and he didn’t had time to counter attack.

Ammeter looking in at this, for your first game I think you did p well! Lots of the player behavior that you’re talking about will eventually make sense as you get a better feel for the differences between league and Dota, but overall just glad to see more ppl interested in the game :)

You are doing actually really well and have great instincts for the game, I would be open to explaining some basics and giving you deeper understanding on the questions you had in this game and I feel like you would improve very drastically if someone explained the core concepts and basics that you can play around with and explore further. Most of the time people get intimidated coming in from LoL, but it's just a different game with different concepts that are important. I played for a long time and was high divine at the time, but have since stopped coz I don't have the time, but I find ways to contribute to the community if I can.

I played league for 7 years with around 4k hours on it then moved to dota 2 back in 2017 and played around 3,500 hours. Not to shit on League but it had good stuff in it. I kinda miss the skill shots, fast movements. I liked playing Ezreal, Veigar and my boy, Kha'zix. Really had no plan on moving but friends peer pressured me. What I really didnt liked about it is that it is very reliant on counter picks and there's not much factor to change such outcomes. In Dota 2 even if you have a terrible laning tandem with your partner, you could pull something off like pulling the creepwaves to the jungle. Lure the wave to make it closer under your tower. Block their pull camps. You're not out of options at all. But id say they're all a complete waste of time even though i thank these games for keeping my head afloat during such trying times of my life. 32 and just starting out in life. Wish me luck. Im leaving video games for good to find some real connections in life.
