I would like to imagine if the other half was snapped away, that they too would have found a way to reverse the snap and defeat Thanos. I mean, they do have Dr. Pym and possibly Shuri as genius's who may be able to use the Pym tech as a time machine. And they do have heavy hitters like Wanda and Spider-Man. So who knows. I think this narrative is okay, although I wouldn't have used Spider-Man as the sacrificial lamb. Out of everyone there it would make more sense to use Black Panther, as Mr. Chadwick unfortunately passed away, which would still leave Shuri to take up the mantle keeping continuity. Or maybe someone else like Wanda because once she killed Thanos, she would feel like there is nothing left to lose. As all of her family and loved ones are all dead. So her reasons to continue living wouldn't exist.
