Thank you. Especially showing the flanged bolt and where they go, shown around your 2 minute mark. This video helped me with my Snail Fly running board install on my 2020 Grand Cherokee.

Great video for the for the DIY. Was going to take my ES350 to Lexis after the first of the year and pay a $1000 to have it replaced. But after seeing your video I think I can get it high up on jack stands and replace it myself for under $300 bucks. Job one gleaned from your video. Be careful with the hoses and plugs during removel and replacement. Thanks!!!

I have 2010 gmc arcadia with abs/tractioncontrol/stabilitrak service needing done. Sadly my brakes pedal keeps kicking back at me, and then my brakes sound like they are grinding when I'm on the brake pedal. It does scare me that they will give way. If I replace this, will it stop the kick back and take away the message on the message board? I have way more problems with this truck than I can afford. Like the exhausTthn the front of the engine that needs fixed or bolted back up. The shocks and struts are completely blown, so I go thru new tires In the back every 3 months or so. I'm a single mother and my job has been on strike for the last week. I can't keep going this way.

I have a 2004 Rx8 and this method don't work for me. You would need to take out the 3 screw on the Intake like in the video (2)10mm nut near the Oil filter. Also take out the air filter with 4 screw of the Throttle and if you want easy access and work better because have big hand/arms take out the alternator. This method on this video is for engine with 6 ports which the intake is different of 4 port

I just did this solenoid swap today and tne method that you used to pull out the entire solenoid was the way to go. I initially pushed in the clip on the soneoid so i could then used your method of pushing it out and keeping the clip and the vacuum line connected on the blue clip. I then removed the vacuum line. complete access to white clip solenoid and repeated again. Thank you for the hand gesture to indicate pushing out.

So the only o rings required are the ones in the compressor? You don’t need any on the hose end as well?
@shawnkimble39495 ай бұрын
I’ve found it easier to leave that bolt that holds the hoses to the compressor be. Disconnect them from the accumulator and condenser and remove the compressor from the front with the hoses attached. You can then transfer them to your new compressor.

I had this code on my car on saved codes for a while but mechanic kept telling me it didn't come out on his code reader. I got a catalytic converter below threshold code now and this one finally came out to pending code with the cat one. Can the cat code be because of the 0661 code?
@mobileautorepairs21696 ай бұрын
Great question! Yes, this was the very reason for this repair bypassing empty wallets on direct fit replacement cats
