It was originally labeled "PB Blaster" and the manufacturer renamed it some time ago to just Blaster. Us old timers still remember PB Blaster and still call it that out of habit. Great vid. Thanks.

So the only o rings required are the ones in the compressor? You don’t need any on the hose end as well?

I’ve found it easier to leave that bolt that holds the hoses to the compressor be. Disconnect them from the accumulator and condenser and remove the compressor from the front with the hoses attached. You can then transfer them to your new compressor.

Also can you replace just the strut that has the hydraulic lines on it or do both the strut and lines have to be replaced? I see the O ring on my has broken loose on my 2010 srx

I had this code on my car on saved codes for a while but mechanic kept telling me it didn't come out on his code reader. I got a catalytic converter below threshold code now and this one finally came out to pending code with the cat one. Can the cat code be because of the 0661 code?

Process of elimination my friend... Always start with a K.I.S.S. 1.Check fuses & relays 2.put key in ignition & turn to crank then back off quickly, do this about 5-10 times, eventually maybe, it will start Most time this tells you possible solenoid failing/failure, if this doesn't work.. 3.Good ole hammer tap to BODY of starter, middle 💪 strength,not too hard, not to soft, just to put a hole in your starter If that still doesn't do it 4. Pull it down and out, shake it, if it's making a rattling noise it's most likely done it's job and it's time for replacement 5. Once out, verify at local parts house for testing Hope that helps! I would love to make a video for the repair you requested but I need a Cascada thar needs it I would recommend calling the dealer with your vin # as I found out there are open recalls campaigns that Buick had made special exceptions on Cascada models up to 150k, something about the valve cover vaccum type noise, this customer benefited from the almost $1500 repair and paid nothing$!

This is not a hard job ime and imo but everyone’s different I take out the shrouds tensioner belt and then remove the mounting studs nuts from bottom then from up top I take off the line then drop it and it falls out

I've been busting knuckles for 36 years doing this work After a few thousand, it's still work, just remember it's all nuts and bolts that hold a vehicle together Ifnit went together , it can come apart Try not to think of the whole repair, just one bolt. 1 step at a time I'm sure you're amazing at what your proficient at, before you can achieve, you must believe! You can do it!!!

This accursed plug is an 8mm Allan, M14-1.5 with a 16mm length thread. Just replace it with a regular hex head plug and never look back. Well that's what I did.

I am in bad health and decided to change the oil today on our cx 5 even tho i really shouldn't have. Well was all going smoothly, put new oil filter on, then tried to undo the drain plug and stripped!! i thought it was my own fault using the wrong hex bit, but it was 8mm. Had to drive all the way to town running the old oil through the new filter and got a new updated plug from mazda dealer that is 17mm. Apparently this is a very common problem. Got the old one off with vice grip, and that's how the dealer said they do it. Serious pita! ABSOLUTE JOKE!
