This is an awesome Video, hope yall a great time! Y'all are lucky to see one of the Big Boy's Steam Locomotives! In Cheyenne, Wyoming they have the Union Pacific "Big Boy" 4014 that is still running and touring. plus on 5:05 you dropped something lol. Next time I go and see mountains i'm going to say "Ayy LOOK it's HILLS!" But all around a great video!

Blue Lagoon was beautiful snorkeling, but it came up a huge thunderstorm, and the food court area flooded, water up above our ankles!! They could certainly do more with that facility, it was not up to Disney standards. Worse, we got food poisoning and spent the rest of the cruise in the clinic and sick in our room

Oh man I’m sorry you had a bad experience! Blue Lagoon is definitely a separate entity from Disney but they put their faith in them when they use them as their excursions. I wish you had had as wonderful an experience that we had!

Yesterday was so much fun! Watching the darkness come in, then seeing esclipse , then the famous Diamond Ring, and the 360 sunrise/sunset was amazing. I do recommend seeing one these eclipse in person, its very outstanding to see!

How did you get the upgrade to the full balcony ? Should I call and ask for the upgrade ahead of time ?

All of the floor 7 rooms have the same size balcony but you can certainly ask for a room with views over different sides of the hotel. We got switched one year when we had a view of the rooftop. They have always been very accommodating to our requests.

I wanted to know, when you said "ACCESS TO THE SPA", did you have to pay for the spa session after paying for the SEVEN package? Asides the payment for the seven did you have to pay any other thing?

Spa access is included without any extra charges with the SEVEN floor package. This gets you access to the infinity pool, the beautiful relaxation room, and the huge grounds. The massages and treatments we got are an extra charge and had to be booked ahead of time. The Solarium is worth every penny because it has the hot tubs and saunas.

Hi! You will need the American Express Platinum card to use their fine hotel and resorts program. You can go on the AMEX card hotel booking service and see all the hotels listed to stay at. They removed the La Cantera Resort from that program but you can still stay there and get the points or use your points to book it. For us to stay free we booked it using our points we collected. By getting the card during a promotion you can earn up to 110,000 points if you spend $3k in the first few months. It has some great perks!

Your video is so informative😍I am planning to go with my wife to this resort . But she is 5 month pregnant . I would like to know how is the road condition to reach that resort .Is it too rough road or smooth .I really appreciate if you can share your experience .

The road is pretty bumpy going to the resort so it may be a bit uncomfortable but I don’t think I would consider it unsafe.

It’s called “Beach Express, open air bus to Beef Island” it was the perfect day! We loved it and how relaxing it was!

Yes we used the adult pool area and the spa pool. Both are not for children but towards the end of the video I showed the lazy river, slides, and family pools. The resort is very kid friendly.

I’ve stayed there before and it’s a very beautiful hotel although they’ve changed it now that I see your video I didn’t know they had that seventh floor though is that Lounge on that floor; is that food for free like for breakfast? It comes with a room or do you have to pay separately? Just wondering

They added the lounge on the 7th floor in around 2018 I believe. It’s all included with the room except for alcohol. It’s such a great place!

Did you take the transfer back to the airport after if so how did it go what time did u have to leave the ship I have a 1030 am flight still trying to get a later flight but that’s what I have now

Yes we took the transfer back to the hotel but you can get it directly to the airport. I believe we arrived at the contemporary around 10am so it would be cutting it very tight but I think you can disembark as early as 7:30am and if you skip the sit down breakfast theoretically you should be able to make it in time! The spa is included in the stay on the seventh floor so for just a day pass to the spa you can probably access it if you buy one on resortpass.com. We used that website once before and it has a lot of options including La Cantera Resort. The breakfast was also included with our Fine Hotels and Resort perks with our American Express platinum card but to buy it outright the buffet costs $26 for adults and $16 for kids. It was great!

Start small and do long distance walks, then jog for short bursts at a time, slowly moving up to more time run. The app walk to 5k was great for me!
