I enjoy your videos and realise that you put a lot of hard work into producing them in spite of the environment. Perhaps try posting some of what KZbin calls "shorts" when it is too hot to take to make a full video and take photos .

@Lightsmith_UK I have posted shorts before, but YT didn't boost my videos when I was posting shorts. That's why I stopped. Apparently, the algorithm wants a channel to do either videos or shorts, not both :(

Arty, really loving you walk us through your process. I think you missed out by not getting a shot with the guy with the umbrella. The reflection looked good on the video and I think would have been great in B&W.

Thank you for watching the video! Oh wow, I didn't even think of shooting the guy with the umbrella. That could have been a good shot! :D But to be honest, I'm not sure I would have gotten the shot even if I had noticed as Koreans are very sensitive about being photographed, and my style focuses on landscapes without people. :)

Glad to see that you are distracted by birds as easily as I am 😂 Of the two images (7:15) I prefer the second image. Although the little golden rock is an point of interest in the first image I actually like how the second image does not have a real "subject" and yet it still keeps my attention, it's a very nice abstract photo!

Your funny. I liked your video. Seagulls are great on a beach when you have a lot of them and some bread to chuck up into the air, what a mess. The boat was awesome. The two net shots were very nice. I think you should have removed the seagulls in the second one but maybe should have done a exposure stack for the first one with a seagull flying from or to a post. Difficult to blend but possible??? The first one seems to have ambiguity with your leading lines. The eye stops between the leading logs and the net and gets distracted by the line that is tying the net in place... Liked the mud flats shots. You have a keen eye for B&W. How many black ball caps do you have...?

Thanks for sharing, I enjoyed following the thought process behind image. Maybe hearing a little more on your ideas for selecting the filters. Also in future your thoughts on gear selection. It looks like you are using two different cameras systems. I shoot mostly with prime lenses buying filters for them is not a great option for me. It would be nice to have a consistent filter size across multiple lenses. Plus zooms get to be real heavy, at my age it’s not a good option. Honestly I love my Leica M lenses and would like to adapt them to the new Nikon Z system. Several of the photographers I follow talk about manual focusing so having a manual focus lens seems like a good idea. Leica can’t seem to design a light weight camera, I love their simplicity in design and menus but they’re getting out of hand at price and weight. Anyway thank you for sharing I’ll keep an eye out for videos. We just had a hurricane storm go through our neighborhood yesterday and power has been flaky and internet inconsistent. It may be a while before you see this message.
@photoflooddays
@photoflooddays Ай бұрын
Thank you so much for watching the video! I will make sure to talk more about my filter choices in future videos. I actually use just one camera system, which is Sony. However, I do use an old Canon lens with it since my previous camera system was Canon, and I just kept one lens. I'm not much of a gear guy(I don't know much about gears actually), so I'm not sure what or how I should talk about gear, but I'll consider making a gear video. Thank you for the suggestion! My bag already weighs around 10kg (22lbs) with three zoom lenses in it. So yeah, I get your point haha. I do agree that Leica cameras are well designed, although they are a bit overpriced (maybe a little too much). I hope the damage wasn't too bad. I'm sorry to hear about the hurricane storm. I hope you and your loved ones are all safe and that there was no property or physical damage. Thank you for your comment and for watching the video.
