The Lord's Second coming already occurred 2000 years ago. Matthew 10:23; 16:26-28; 26:63-64 We in are not in the last days or end times. The church age has no such features. It was the Old Covenant Aeon that ended. Daniel and Revelation were fulfilled in the first century.

“For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be....Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that YOU may have the strength to ESCAPE all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.” (Mt. 24:21, Luke 21:36) Dear brothers and sisters. Why would Jesus tell the church to pray for the strength to escape all these things if she will be raptured before they begin? The Greek for escape is “ekphuego” and means to "flee from danger," not be caught up to meet Jesus in the air.. The church will enter the tribulation and needs to begin praying and preparing. It’s not that far away. Dear brothers and sisters, believe what scripture says. If you think you know a scripture that teaches a pretrib rapture, then make sure it can be reconciled with these passages.

"You" = Israel (not the church). Jesus is on the mount of Olives speaking to Israel (Mt. 24:3). Israel flees ("escapes") into the wilderness, not the church (Mt. 24:16; Rev. 12:6, 14). The church is "taken out of the way" BEFORE Daniel's 70th week begins (2 Thess. 2:7-8). It is NOT an "escape", it is the removal of a HINDRANCE (2 Thess. 2:6-8). The 70 weeks were "determined upon" Daniel's people (Jews), and the holy city (Jerusalem). Not the whole world, and certainly not the church (Dan. 9:24). "It's not that far away". Now you sound like the sensationalist in the video above. Neither Daniel's 70th week or the removal of the church are near. The city of Babylon is rebuilt FIRST in it's original location: Shinar (Zech. 5:5-11). No 'end-times' passages can be fulfilled before this city has become fully functional.

@ Jesus very clearly and unambiguously said on multiple occasions that the things He spoke about the great tribulation and the end of the age would happen in their first century generation. All the apostles and their disciples undisputedly believed that all those things would happen in their lifetime. This is clear and indisputable but also very disliked by people with a futurist viewpoint.

@@dana44ism Matthew 16:27-28, 23:36, 24:34 and Mark 13 and Luke 21. Matthew chapter 23 is where Jesus prophesied judgment on the scribes and Pharisees and their current generation. Matthew 24 is the Olivet discourse where Jesus is answering specific questions that His disciples asked Him and the Mark and Luke references are their account of the Olivet discourse. The verses in Matt 16:27-28 are Jesus speaking to His disciples and talking about His coming in His kingdom in glory, with His angels and judging all according to their works. Hope this helps. Have a great day. By the way Matt 24:34 in context can only mean the generation Jesus was speaking to and not some future generation. He used the same words several other times in the gospels and every time He was referring to His own first century generation and scripture is clear that all of His disciples understood Him to mean their lifetime and that is what they expected.

King James Bible Luke 21:22 For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. New King James Version For these are the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. New American Standard Bible because these are days of punishment, so that all things which have been written will be fulfilled. Here's the bottom-line, dear Brother or Sister, in the Lord: Every constituent element of eschatology, 1. the kingdom, 2. the judgment, 3. salvation, 4. coming of the Lord, 5. resurrection, associated with the consummated End of the Age, is inextricably, inseparably linked with the judgment of Old Covenant Israel, in 70 A.D. - Fulfilled 20 centuries ago.

A reference of Matthew 24:15 with Luke's account links the destruction of Jerusalem as occurring when that generation would see the city surrounded by an army: Mat.24:15-16, "When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation spoken of by Daniel the prophet stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth let him understand:) Then let them which be in Judea flee unto the mountains." Using the same command for the people in Judea to flee, Christ says, in Luke 21:20, "And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed about with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh." And to clearly identify what the purpose for the desolation is; verse 22, "For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled."

Keep in mind that the seventy weeks were determined upon "thy people and thy holy city", and that by the end of the seventy weeks, the city and the sanctuary would be destroyed. This was fulfilled in A.D. 70. We are not waiting today for the temple to be rebuilt today, simply so that it can be destroyed, as it has already happened! Also, by the end of this period, the 'sacrifice and the oblation' (Dan 9:27) were to cease. This, too, was accomplished in A.D. 70. We are not waiting today for the sacrifices to start again, simply so that they can stop, as this has already happened! In further confirmation, Daniel 9:24 lists six specific things that would be accomplished by the end of this period, all of which have been fulfilled. In confirmation of the fulfillment, it reads, "Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to:" 1. "Finish the transgression," - This was fulfilled. (Luke 11:47-51 ; Matt 23:29-32; Matt 21:33-45) 2. "Make an end of sins," - This was fulfilled. (John 1:29; Matt 1:21; Acts 10:43; Hebrews 9:26) 3. "Make reconciliation for iniquity," - This was fulfilled. (II Cor 5:18-21; Hebrews 2:17; Col 1:20; Romans 5:10) 4. "Bring in everlasting righteousness," - This was fulfilled. (Romans 3:25,26; Hebrews 9:12; II Thess 2:16; II Cor. 9:9) 5. "Seal up vision and prophecy," - This was fulfilled. (Hebrews 1:1-2; John 1:1; II Peter 1:19-21) 6. "Anoint the most holy (or holy place),"- This was fulfilled. (Matthew 3:15-17; Luke 4:18; Acts 4:26,27; 10:38) Interestingly, Christ, in response to the question of how many times a man should forgive his brother, responded by saying, "until seventy times seven," which is the exact amount of time in Daniel's seventy weeks. The implication being that there was an end to Christ's patience with His nation. Christ fulfilled the covenant that they broke well over 490 'times'. That is not necessarily to say that Christ was saying after 'seventy sevens' we should not forgive, but that, simply, "seventy weeks (were) determined upon (Daniel's) people." Therefore, we can see that the desolation of Jerusalem in A.D. 70 fulfilled the prophecies of Daniel chapter nine, against the perverse generation that rejected the Lord and his Anointed. Christ judged the nation with desolation and took away the kingdom of God and gave it to a nation bringing forth fruits (Matthew 21:43), which is the nation of believers. The "days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled" spoken of can be no other than the fulfillment of Daniel's seventy weeks with the Desolation of Jerusalem in A.D. 70. Therefore, the desolation of Palestine in A.D. 66-73 was the fulfillment of Daniel's 70th week, and the end of any temporal 'Nation of God'.

Question: If God has two different plans for Jews and Gentiles TODAY, why does Peter & Paul, in the first century, say there is no longer a distinction? Acts 10:34 Then Peter began to speak: “I now truly understand that God does not show favoritism, Acts 10:43 To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins. Romans 10:12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. Galatians 3:28-29 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise. Colossians 3:11 11 Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.

I believe that all prophecy, parables, promises, trumpets and eschatology have already been fulfilled by King Jesus and the prophetic office ceased 2000 years ago. I get this belief based on Jesus and the Apostles teaching.

Mr. Morris, because you emphasize this case (at 1:44) about Jesus rebuking the SECULAR crowd ONLY ONCE in all scripture - and it is about their not watching for the day of Christ's visitation repeatedly, I need to correct you so that you might retract or at least stop making this false claim. This is a false statement. The reference you use is Matthew 16:3 which CLEARLY states "The Pharisees and Sadducees came, and testing Him (Jesus) asked that He would show them a sign from heaven" Then Jesus rebukes them (these Jewish and Religious people) saying "You hypocrites know how to discern the... sky, but cannot discern the signs of the times". Your weekly montage is always extremely encouraging, refreshing, and I am sure abundantly fruitful. Your humble demeanor also allows we students the freedom to confront and correct. As all of us are students of Bible prophecy, it is wise to remember that every teacher will make mistakes - which is why we need to adhere to what the late Chuck Missler used to say - "Don't take my" (Missler's) "word for it, you do your own study to verify what Scripture says". Thank you for your weekly encouragements Mr. Joseph Morris.
