With this video and all of the brochures on Battery Backup, I have yet to see how the Schneider Backup Power System Automatically manages high priority loads while preventing inverter overloading. When the inverter is paralleling the grid it isn't such a big problem because demand in excess of what the inverter can supply will just be taken from the grid. But when the grid fails and the inverter is providing backup power, the system needs to cause loads to automatically be shed when the inverter suddenly becomes overloaded. And, it has to do it in a foolproof way such as hard wired, not using WiFi, Ethernet, cellular or other communication that is subject to failure. For example, I have two 5 ton air conditioner units (~ 6 kW each) and we have 100 degree+ weather (like most of the nation this week). I want a system that will power high priority and uncontrolled loads (refrigerator, water pump, lights, etc.) and one AC unit at a time. But, I don't want to pay extra for a system that can power both AC units simultaneously. And, if a lot of uncontrolled loads and an AC unit are running and someone turns on a large uncontrolled load and causes an inverter overload, I want the system to automatically and immediately shed controlled loads to stop the overload before exceeding the short term overload capability of the inverter (which will probably be installed outside in that 100 degree weather). It sounds simple to me but I don't see that sort of foolproof and automatic capability in Schneider's literature. If the Schneider Backup Power Systems can do that, how about making a video on automatic load shedding.

guys need some advice. bought 3rd party batteries - can that plastic housing snap off the original battery and be used to the replacement better ? I believe whats in there is the parallel wiring section to link both batteries together. Thanks. We all know that APC will only give us a dead link to this question lol

Could you please post a close up of the red cable connector being connected, because that's what every one needs to see. From this camera angle, it's not clear if the connector is being attached at the top of bottom slot.
