I hope I can learn more and actually do this! Even if it is just the sleeve. Or even mittens!

You're so humble and excellent. Motivating and covering all the intricate details. Lopapeya icelandic sweater : I knitted two sweaters 1. 100% Acrylic Yarn, Ganga Wool 2. 100% Merino Super Fine yarn, Ganga wool. Was really troublesome handling the SPY, but your work kept me motivated.

I don't understand what you are doing at 3:40. It looks like you are picking up the stitch from the back. Can you explain this?

Hello I am making my first yoke sweater its called fern and feather. I made the colourwork yoke then increased the back using wrap and turn technique. I have separated the sleeves and worked few rounds of the body from underarm area. But its bulging where the yoke pattern is. What should i do to fix that or what did I do wrong for the sweater to bulge? Please help

Thank you very much for this instructional video! I just got done with the sweater😃 I used the alafosslopi yarn so it's really thick and will get some good use this winter. Will try another sweater with a softer yarn next, probably the fish design!🤘

This is actually one of the easier ways I’ve seen to get this look. ❤ I only wish you had taken some of the more important spots a littler slower - I needed to stop and replay frequently!!!! 😢

Great method. I think the beautiful effect of this method would be seen more clearly with a smoother yarn.

Would you also multiply the stitches by neck size if using cm. or in. ? would that make any difference ? thank you
@A1Wh4t3v3r3 ай бұрын
HI where did you get 65 cm from ? is that the measurement about your head+neck? Is that just the number you pulled out of the air that you'd like your neck to be? I am really trying to understand you. Thank You

Greetings from Colorado. I watched all three parts. Fantastic, especially the cast on method, the bind off and how you distributed the spaces evenly! I learned so much! I have knitted a few aran design sweaters and would like to knit my first icelandic design...i picked a pattern today and ordered the wool. I an going to try to adjust my knitting style away from my usual "throw the yarn with my right hand" and keep the working yarn(s) on the left. The only question I have is what to do when its too many stitches away when picking up the original color after working another color(s)? Did I miss the explanation of that?

Thank you for this tutorial. It's very helpful. When you're picking up the knit stiches from the waste yarn, it seems like you knit the first stitch regularly, but you're knitting the second picked-up stitch through the back loop. Is this on purpose? Is there any difference in the final result?

Woah, this is so cool, never seen it done this way. 😮 I am always still amazed by the things I find on KZbin. I think I’ve seen it all then I learn something new. Thank you, Yuha!
