Hii,my cat has diagnosed with wet FIP..I can’t digest the fact that i should give up and ready to say goodbye to her..She is 7 mnths old and weighs 1.4kg..i am pregnant and I have been crying since yesterday,I am helpless..I have consulted vet here many times..They are giving no hope and expects to pay moneyy..I live in saudi arabiaa.The treatment is very expensive.Please help me through this.I love her very much😭

My cat has been having injections for more than a month now, and his body seems to be so saturated it is difficult to find skin where to inject. Probably because of that it isn´t absorbing well. Should I consider changing to pills? Will the pills be well absorbed? Please note that the cat - although been treated for more than a month now - it still isn't eating perfectly normally and still has to be (partially) force fed. In this case, will the pills be an option?

I had a cat with FIP that underwent successfully this treatment (and he was way better just after 5 or 6 days after starting it). I have, now, a second cat, that also needs it. He hasnt evolved as well, he is still a bit difficult to feed and he is already half way in the 84-day period but is skin is very saturated and with several wounds (although that is something to be more or less expected) and very difficult now to find a spot where to inject it. How to overcome that? Every day it is getting more difficult to adminster (a vet is performing the injections, not me, but even he is getting a bit desperate)...

Certainly! It's perfectly fine to open the capsules and blend them with your cat's snacks or food. Just ensure that your cat consumes all the food mixed with the powdered capsules.

Cześć. Kapsułka doustna jest podawana kotu o tej samej porze każdego dnia, co zastrzyk. Czy obecnie przechodzisz na kapsułki doustne? Na przykład, jeśli dzisiaj podajesz zastrzyk o godzinie 10 rano, jutro przejdziesz na kapsułki doustne, również podawane o 10 rano. Jeśli nie możesz podać leku dokładnie o tej samej porze każdego dnia, zalecamy podanie go w ciągu 2 godzin przed lub po zwykłej porze. Dopóki nie jest to zbyt daleko od regularnej godziny, powinno być w porządku.

I have rescued around 60 feral kittens .I currently have 33.Ive had 2 young cats die from fip .Its horrible. Both were mis diagnosed has something else until right before they died. I have the meds ready just in case I encounter another case.please pray for us and our cats! It might seem crazy what we do,but it has had a profound positive effect on me and my adult children. My new couches are torn up,my dining room furniture is torn up,but We love our babies so much that we just see it as an expense.they are worth every penny.

Hi, my cat gets the 💊 since 30 days. He is better since the first day of treatment. On day 5 he plays, jumps and eat if nothing ever happend before. We didnt have one bad day up to now. He has dry fip with eye symptoms (only the first 5 days). In Germany current studies about oral treatment are done for only 42 days of treatment. Can I stop treatment also after 42 days if my cat stays as well as now? Why do you recommend 84 days of treatment?

Hi, 84 days is not fixed. The reason for 84 days is following the clinical trial done by Dr.Pederson. We are following the regime and standard. Hence, we do not recommend stopping at 42 days, it is preventing from increasing the relapse %.

Mientras que algunos gatos se recuperan por completo sin ninguna recurrencia después del tratamiento, es esencial proporcionar un entorno libre de estrés para su gato durante y después del tratamiento. Para minimizar el riesgo de una recaída, recomendamos encarecidamente evitar factores estresantes durante el período de observación. Elementos estresantes como vacunaciones, cirugías, baños frecuentes y cambios ambientales drásticos (como la introducción de nuevas mascotas o mudanzas) pueden desencadenar una recaída en la FIP. Al reducir la exposición a estos factores estresantes, puede brindar a su gato una mejor oportunidad de recuperación.

Hi I have started the curfip injection treatment, do you think that I can switch to oral treament after a few days (say 14 or 30 days) if my cat is inbetter health or do I keep the injection one ?

We always recommend starting every treatment with injections for at least 1 month before switching to oral treatment. Reason being is that injections are accurate to calculate and they go directly to the bloodstream. On the other hand, capsules must go through the digestive system in order for the body to absorb it. Most FIP cats would have digestive system complications at the beginning of the treatment such as diarrhoea or vomiting which cause a waste of medicine and time for the cat's survival chances. After 1 month of injections, the cat's condition improves very much and starts acting normally. Most importantly, For the oral treatment to be effective, cat must eat well on its own and defecate normally. In some cases where the diagnosis was done early before the symptoms were fully shown, the oral treatment was a success from the start. It all depends on the absorption rate of the digestive system.

1) would i be able to tell the needle is in the empty space while holding the syringe? 2) is this considered intradermal or interdermal injection? 3) my vet said a thin cat is easier to inject than a fat cat because we don't want to inject GS into the fatty part of the skin. Is that right?

It's advisable to replace it frequently. However, if you intend to reuse, ensure proper washing and refrain from using it more than three times for hygiene reasons.

I lost my Jack. He was beautiful white male persian cat. always a humble and lovely. Unfortunately didnt get injections till last day. I gave him only 1 injection at 3 pm, he passed away at around 7 pm. May god give all the cats these injections as soon as posible whoever get infected with FIP.

Yes, some cats are more calm, while others can be more temperamental. You can try using calming sprays when administering injections to your cat or entice them with their favorite treats. Another option is to use oral capsules as a treatment.

@@curefip1545 yeah i’m going to have to switch to the oral treatment. every day just gets worse, and tonight was the most stressed out and upset i’ve ever seen him in his 2 and a half years of life… just not feasible. tried every possible trick in the book. i can pill him quite easily.

I've been with this treatment for 50 days out of 84. Just the first 10 days my cat recovered a lot!❤ now is like it never happened, is healthy and the blood tests came perfect, it was the wet and then the neurological. And now is like it never happened❤ fip is not deadly anymore,it can be treated. It works. Keep fighting❤ 😊 is hard,but you can do it! Just a week of learning and you will be able to do it without problem❤

I just tried first injection on my cat, and it wore him out he stopped eating could barley walk and breathing faster he was a little better after a day but I'm afraid to proceed. I feel like I made him worse. The folks at FIP warriors aren't much help.
