Hi Tshidi 😊. I hope you are well. After doing a big chop in 2022 I stopped doing a pre poo. It's a waste of time for me and my hair has been growing well. I keep my hair routine very simple.

Hey Tshidi, welcome back sana. I’m planning on doing my hair today and incorporate flaxseed as a deep conditioner after washing. I was wondering if any local girls have tried it, and surprisingly your video popped up. I remember watching your video when you relaxed your hair. Some of us have had to go back and forth with our hair. I would like to hear how your journey, from Afro to relax and back again to Afro.
@tshidiradebe4 күн бұрын
Hey gurl, I would recommend you use the flaxseed as a pre poo instead as a deep conditioner. I think I will do a dedicated video on that “back & fourth “ journey however I would say, I needed to relax my hair at the time.

@tshidiradebe the only regret I have about locs is not getting them sooner. The only time I "stress" about maintenance is every 8 weeks. Other than that, I wake each day, spray a bit of water, and I'm out the door. The only downside to getting locs is that I've become EXTREMELY tender headed, I can't even tie a ponytail without wincing😂😭

I am so happy that you have been enjoying this loc journey. Maybe in the future I may loc my hair for the experience. Honestly, I do the same, Iv been living in braids for over a year now. I love it. I will always classify myself as a “lazy natural”

I'm 30. I've been natural my whole life, I've relaxed my hair like 5 times in my life but I started truly growing my hair in 2016. In primary I would be told I looked like a boy cause I never war ear rings and had short hair. It got to me but my mother didn't care so I had to accept it. Till now I still don't have ear piercing

Earrings are a form of accessories & anyone can wear them so people identifying you based on holes on your ears is silly. You are beautiful without them. However I am sorry if maybe you felt like they were bullying you. Also, it sounds like you have fully embraced not wearing earrings
