Yes unfortunately the cutoff time is 6 hours and 15 minutes for Berlin with a few check points along the way. If you get swept from the field you wouldn't be able to cross the finish and receive a medal. I have seen some cases where runners who don't make the time cutoff, but still cross the finish received a medal. But it doesn't count towards a star for the 6 World Major Marathons.

You came up on my feed today. Cool. Also a Florida runner. Except I’m not a Florida newbie I’ve been here since 89. If you haven’t done it yet, the Space Coast Marathon/Half is a very well run race. I have run it for 13 years in a row. After a while Disney got old for me lol probably cause of all the years raising kids and with the price and drama of it selling out, I’ve never run Disney. But I know that Dopey is no joke. (It snowed?? !). Anyway, cool, I’ll be following the NYC journey. It’s tough right now but you got this. We just have another 6 weeks and it will be a bit of relief. (Yesterday was the most humid I’ve ever experienced here! 😂)

You are a Florida running pro! Yes I've heard such great things about the Space Coast Marathon. Definitely on my list! If it wasn't so close to NYC this year I probably would have done it, so maybe next year! Disney definitely has become the "must do" race and it's extremely popular, but I also feel like that may slow down in the next few years. Living so close to the parks still has a bit of novelty for us, but I'm sure that will change over time. I'll be interested to see if Universal adds races once they open their new park. I'm so happy to hear you say that yesterday was the worst you experienced because Even being here 3 years that was how I felt, but also wasn't sure if I just blocked other summer runs from my memory lol. That storm just really enhanced the muggy weather this week. Hopefully it dies down for the long run! Stay hydrated and thanks for following along!

I do half packets of LMNT. The sodium is too high for me too. But 1/2 of the packet works great

Yeah it seems to work really well for many!! I ended up ordering more Skratch as it doesn't bother my stomach as much. I might give LMNT another try once I get into my longer miles and am in the heat for a longer period of time

Hi great video! When did you do this stay? I’m thinking about booking at the boardwalk inn. Traveling mid December, but worried about how construction might impact the overall feel of the resort. Maybe you can share your thoughts? Thank you!

Hello and thank you! This stay was September 14th! The only construction you will see is around the future cake bake shop. We did not feel it impeded our stay in any way! There wasn't any noise and other than walking to EPCOT, we didn't even notice it. I would just recommend requesting a room on the opposite side if you are concerned at all. The only room that wasn't renovated completely during our stay was the presidential suite, which I would image will be done by December if it isn't already. Highly recommend staying here!

The lobby itself has been restored for now. They are still working on all of the main building rooms, so the exterior scaffolding will remain. Last update was late fall, but I don't know if that still holds. We are staying on property soon and will ask to see if we can get any further updates!

There are actually several areas where you can walk around the lake. There's a park if you walked down alexander st called Elizabeth Evans Park which is right on the lake. If you walk around the marina next to it theres a nice linear park that leads to Grantham Point where the lighthouse is. A little further past Grantham is a boardwalk over the lake that meanders in and out of the forest canopy.

Thank you for your honest opinion on this matter. Back in the day (my last trip to Disney World was in November 2013, before that one, a Disney trip was an affair done every year at the same time for ten days), since we always booked French Quarters, we were allowed two extra hours and EPCOT was my favorite park to be at night. Nowadays, the price point is way too extreme for what you are getting. I am also disappointed that you are limited to the pavilions, according to other bloggers. I just booked ten days at the French Quarters (we will celebrate our 43 anniversary) on January 10. 2024. You have a subscriber here 🙋♂️😂. Stay safe.

French Quarter is such a romantic resort and perfect for an anniversary! You'll have such an amazing time. January is typically a quieter month, so you'll really get to see lower wait times and also enjoy my favorite Epcot festival. With 10 days you won't be rushed and will really be able to check off all of your favorite things!

@@AlwaysPlanning Agreed, I had stayed in the Contemporary, Coronado, Caribbean, Riverside (when it was Dixie 😂), Shades of Greens (I am a Coast Guard veteran with two kids also serving in the Coast Guard), and for about six years before my sabbatical from Disney, we made French Quarter our home in Disney World. Small and quieter compared to other resorts. Since I rather drive than rely on Disney transportation; I always rent) it does not bother me to drive. For us is the perfect resort (I am saving for a stay at our dream Resort, Wilderness Lodge, for late 2024 when I make the last mortgage payment and my wife's retirement at the same time). Stay safe.

Thanks for sharing your opinions... I've been watching numerous videos on this event and yeah, it totally seems like it's not worth it. Fingers crossed I can call Disney and have them switch my ticket to a regular day ticket!

Hopefully they will do that for you! If not, you can definitely make the most of it though, especially if you enter the park at 7:00 and take full advantage of those few hours prior to the party. Just prioritize what is most important to you and it will be a great time regardless!

I would be interested in the Polynesian. A few unsolicited critiques on your video…perhaps if you broke up your video with a couple more close ups, and also I couldn’t really hear well towards the end with the music over your talking. Otherwise l thanks for the close up review of your room!

The Polynesian is definitely a great one we can check out soon. We stayed there right after covid and we want to give it another try now that things are a bit back to normal. We appreciate the critiques. We are still learning and feedback on what you'd like to see is very helpful as we edit in the future! We also just invested in some new equipment, so hopefully that will help with the sound moving forward. :)

Hey Johnny! Yes you'll have a new room. All the standard rooms are complete and they are currently working on the suites and cottages. We were in room 4240, but I would put in a request for a water view as those are all standard as well. You'll have a beautiful view that way!
