Dude looks like a burgler.

Fairly happy with this purchase. Price increased substantially shortly after. The part I dislike is the measurement indicator with magnification. To me it’s worthless and I find myself measuring distance to blade on every cut. It’s to far above tape and the slightest movement left or right changes the perceived measurement. Anybody have aa good alternative? Short of the i Gaging or Wixey digital there doesn’t seem to be anything in between.

I wish someone would post an actual unboxing and review of this saw.

I've had it for a little over a year... it's a POS. Don't waste your time. Already have had to replace multiple parts. It has never cut with repeatable results. Doesn't cut true.

Can i upgrade this motor to a Grizzly 1 3/4 hp motor? ?

My machine arrived today. Looks well made. I am disappointed it doesn't have a dust collection port. I think I am going to cut a hole in the side to add a port. Has anyone already tried to add dust collection?

I've owned this band saw for 2 years. I've already had to replace parts and now with the slightest pressure..it stops the blade while the motor and pulleys still turn. Looks like I need to replace the worm gear or something. It has been a constant weak point in the shop. Time to toss it out. I won't buy shop fox again

Old American here, and I just put this sander together. Oh my gawd. Nothing is square on it. Yes, you can adjust the tables to 90 degrees, but because of the poor machining, good luck on getting the miter track to run parallel to the belt/disc. The motor seems fine and I really do like it over the 30" size. Great for crafts and hobbies, but it will not be good for precision work.

I just recently got the big brother of these in a few days ago, the W1848. I'm pretty new to serious drill presses. So far I love it but I have one question and one concern. 1) What is the thumb knob for that's on the same cylinder as the spindle handles? 2) The oscillator on mine is only travelling about 1/4" instead of the specified 3/4" and I'm trying to troubleshoot why. I move the oscillator pulley manually to 0" then add the oscillator pulley belt and start up. There are no missing/broken teeth on the plastic drive gear and the worm gear appears to be in perfect condition. If I turn the machine off and manually turn the oscillator pulley, there are several long periods where it doesn't seem to move the quill at all then catches again.
