Thanks for sharing! The LDE app is way better than the old OBS port they had. Solved the audio issue to monitor audio locally! Just gotta say, the AI cleanup on the audio is pretty rough, especially the audience member questions. Obviously this stands out most to people who work full time editing video, but....read the room, lol? To me, this audio is inferior to captions and "classic" cleanup tools. Otherwise, no notes ;)

Sorry but FCP X is terrible. For all it's advances too many steps backward. I can do things far more complex and easier in FCP 7 than X in a fraction of the time. Too many confusing non intuitive changes, some of which are downright baffling.

Why would anyone, at a professional level, use a video editing software, to mix sound? Also the presumption that Logic plugins are available or desired? Current standards around the WAV plugins. Also the craft of mixing is an entirely separate craft/skill and this is just not the way to go. Just my 2 cents...

LPs 8 tracks cassettes CD's now what. Those of us venturing in to 4k are the ones spending the big bucks and supporting the industry,,,, yeah we will kick our heads in the near future but we are the guys who are curious and after the headaches we will have the experience and the knowledge when the next step arrives. HEy I will shoot 4k and 2k love 2k workflow but HAve the 4k workflow as well. $10,000 in internal and external alone and still going to have storage issues.

I personally they will just lose out and do work much slower rather than getting stuck with old technology. Would you still buy VHS tapes when DVDs came out? if they spent 6 months researching what editing system is best and despite Studio reluctance went with FCPX on a 100 million dollar movie, that says it all..

I'm glad it works for you and I know a few other people who are happy with FCP X as well. I just think Apple made a mistake by alienating a large portion of their "Professionally Consumers" and it will effect them in many more ways than us just not purchasing FCP.
