This could have been great without the sensational/entertainment value you think sells. I stopped before the 2:00 mark. So sad.

The ubermensch is not a biological concept. Ugly sputtering disabled freaks can be ubermensch if they just set their mind to enfeebled moral strictures descended from Christianity, all the while reviling Christianity. Thanks retard! Just like, set goals yourself and stuff.

Possibly there could be a Kafkaesque limerick; In my projection below, I have in mind The Hunger Artist and The Bucket Rider: ' There was an old man in a yurt He hadn't even a shirt He'd beg for a dime But most of the time His plate held only some dirt

And so what Jesus showed us at the cross was how to endure suffering (by viewing it through the lens of love and a sense of purpose).

Brilliant documentary. Don't be so sure that our society/civilisation will adopt sane values. Look at "Brave New World" by Huxley for example. The ignorance of the majority is very disturbing.

somebody should pay for a better script. To make an enemy from Nietzsche, and even more, "explaining" , "excusing" him as a victim like is so fashionable today, is as unintelligent as using it to start WW2. Funny how people who don't understand half of his ideas have the vanity to judge him from a position of superiority. Amusing. Especially when using 7 grade conceptual frame and cultural weight. So Media! This is a big Hahaha, no-no from me, and the advise to those embarking in watching it to use analytic thinking and wash the partizan and emotional nonsense away.

I think Nietzsche almost perfectly predicted the current world situation. Yes, it is full of Christians, but they are not really Christians, which has become "the religion of comfortableness. People believe so that they can justify themselves in any way necessary. Yet, they remain sheep. The void the Roman collapse created was filled by Christian fanaticism with persecutions of "heretics," pagans, and Jews., with religious civil wars bringing chaos and presaging the world wars. That era lasted up until the 20th-century climax during WW2 and is still with us in some forms. Today, Christianity still provides an escape from reality to the point of causation of chaos because it abandons the world while it allows the full expression of hedonism as Nietzsche perceived.

That is why modern atheists ways of thinking are not to far away from the terrifying minds of Nietzsche, or Hittler. They are worse, because unlike Hittler or Nietzsche, they are followers of ,and make gods, of men.

Nietzsche alone understood antisemitism. However, he was a nihilist. That's why his antisemitism was inconsequential. This young woman is the embodiment of the fact that thinking cannot be learned and taught. He knew his father was not a good man. There are no good men, only honest bad men and hypocrites.

He wasn't a genius at all, he was just a popular philosopher because even the most basic people could read him, moreover, he makes every loser feel special, superior and selfentitled. He was the ultimate populist and caused both world wars, so many unchecked egos, delusions, as a result, amplified divisions. His books should be banned as toxic or come with a disclaimer. It just makes lazy people feel superior and living on mount stupid for a lifetime.

I read "consumerism" that's filling the bleak void of post-Christian western societies which Neitzsche prophecized. But then, folks like Elon Musk still give us hopes that there are some people looking up at the sky, not just watching stars blinking but pursuing them. Another great documentary from BBC as always!

2 ways of looking at life. 1. It is just a chaotic chemical flux of a reality, for which, we don't know where or what began it. Or us. Or, 2. Rather than explain it, I will give the book title, free on KZbin, "Journey of Souls, by Dr. Michael Newton. Best explanation I have found. But, I think it is all Karma working out. That suggests Reincarnation. Anyway, Good Luck Friends.

If the belief is we need a God to keep us in line morally, this would suggest we are in need of tyrants to guide us socially and governmentally. This atheist disagrees.
