Thanks so much for sharing your story. I'm excited to follow your journey. I'm sure you will inspire many people. I can relate to a lot of what you are speaking about. My addiction was to shopping to get my "fix" and to escape the stress of the day. I am now 8 months since I made a commitment to change my ways and I am feeling amazing about that. No more shame about my behavior. I'm now focusing on improving my health in other ways. Finding other ways to relax and distress is huge. I hope you are able to find a therapist or great support person to help you through this journey. I'm so sorry for the loss of your Dad.

Looks great . However , using any tint and blending into bleach will create unwanted warmth tones , demi or permanent 🙌

can I use shades eq for a shadow root done on gray/white hair that's been highlighted to a.level 9/10?
@RyanWeeden3 ай бұрын
@@leenelson6976 Yes, but it may only blend the gray, it won’t cover it fully. You would need a permanent gray coverage color for that.

I just have a question...why do you call this "balayage" when it's clearly a babylight foil with a shadow root?
@katerinatucker10394 ай бұрын
Can you advise on colors which are cool not warm and coppery. I would like to achieve medium Ash blond with cool highlights between. What I always get is warm, copper outcome. Tried all sort of products and hairsalons but always get it coppery. What do I do please?

Not Balayage, But It is a good foil Technique. Balayage IS NOT FOIL
@RyanWeeden4 ай бұрын
I disagree and don’t believe that balayage fits in a box. It is a look we are after and whether it takes a blend of foils or open air painting to get there, it doesn’t matter what you call it. This is American balayage.
@thecreativeitalian76114 ай бұрын
@@RyanWeeden they are both tools One is a drill one is a saw. Those tools do different things. Balayage is not a look it’s a technique and I am very certain you as smart as you are, you know that. Things like this can be so confusing 🫤 to those that don’t have the education tools built up who are still learning. Like newbies
@RyanWeeden4 ай бұрын
@@thecreativeitalian7611 I appreciate what you’re saying, and yes they are both tools. And to the stylist doing the technique, I don’t think it matters if you call it balayage, foilayage, air touch, etc - so long as you get the result your client wants. However, a client may ask for a balayage. But they are referring to a look. How we get there shouldn’t concern them. So from their perspective, I consider it a look.
