If you have to take your nose and put it inches from the paint the paint smells good. Bad paint will smell the instant you open the container you don't have to stick your nose in the paint like they are.

When there are a few weeks (2-3) after using the airless sprayer before using him again with (acrylic paint) do I also put anti freeze in the machine for that time? Or left the machine empty after cleaning for few weeks? I suppose it's not good to keep clean water in the machine during 2 weeks.

Also, I guess there's really no reliable solution to use one machine for oil based and latex based products, correct?

Great video, but here's a tip. I may be wrong, but it seems what you are touching your gun to is the plastic lid of the metal can. Although what you said about not creating a spark to avoid combustion is 100% true, you're not going to ground the gun to the can by touching it to the plastic lid. That plastic lid ( if I am seeing this correctly) is non conductive, and if you want to ground the gun, you need metal to metal contact. If the lid is in fact metal, you're good to go! Thanks for the video, a great help, especially the part about letting the sediment settle and harden to reuse the thinner. Saved me a TON!

I would not give our 10-year warranty on anything without grinding. I like the product and would consider offering it to a customer with a limited warranty. Looks great!

the money you spend on tape and masking is unreal. I hardly ever tape. If you are painting a room you paint the baseboards too because they need to be caulked. Cut them in after the walls are done.

I have learned a lot from following this guy but at the same time, he reminds me of my sister’s ex boyfriend. He owned a bucket truck and would use it for everything including heights under 12 ft! Most people will get the picture!

5 tips for graphic marketing: Tip one: make your marketing easy to read. Ahem. ...shirt....ahem.... Loved the video though. Thanks for making it for us. PS - for people from Rio Linda or whatever - if you use the end covered roller, make sure you don't mind painting the top of your walls, too. I mean, it was pretty obvious, but just sayin'.

@idahopainter here’s a small tip on the pressure washing, get a ball valve and attach it from the hose to the spray gun. We use this to reduce the psi is needed but then also we can shut off the valve and pop the gun off, then open the ball valve and allow water to flow with the pressure washer still running while we do whatever small task we have to do (typically a 1-2min task)

Super deck oil based is a film forming stain. Doesn’t that make it more prone to peeling? Also, I’m wondering if it’s self leveling? If not, wouldn’t it be easier to use a product that is self leveling? Such as ready seal or stain and seal experts?

I’m not trying to put down your work but I would be very surprised if it does not fail within a few years. I hate concrete dust that is why I do very little epoxy jobs anymore. It would be awesome if it lasted without grinding the floor. I have done millions of square feet for Ford, and Chrysler in Detroit Michigan. I worked for a company called Hoover and Wells. The epoxy needs to get into the pores of the concrete is what they always told me so it properly bonds.

That was my very first thought when I saw him cleaning the floor. Gotta break out the grinder.
