He is uncaged. He only has a sleeping cage for sleeping & then an outdoor cage to keep him separate from outdoor wildlife until we get our extra large aviary built

My goodness, he sure is pretty, sheesh! You know, I’ve also seen people spoil their birbs (esp during molting season) with extra soft bristle electric toothbrushes. Not sure if that is even an option for your extremely delicate terrorizer, but I figured it was still worth a mention, just in case! ❤️ Content borb = peaceful few minutes of your life! 🤣

Screw the ASMR these birds are very unpredictable. I was biting my nail with every brush praying for your safety. This said by several birds I own. They bonded with my kids and I’m left with their shit.

He free flies every day. Toucans are not long distance fliers. They have short wing spans and do short flights from tree to tree.

They are very challenging to care for. I would say these exotic birds are the most advanced "pet" I have ever had to commit to in all of my 28 years of caretaking experience. Posting our Tik Tok compilation on just a few reasons why they don't make good pets. Stay tuned for more to come!

Hey, can i ask you why you keep this toucan as a pet? And how did you get it? I say this mostly because my country Colombia (where toucans live) has a huge problem with wild animal trafficking, so I'm just curious because of my concern about the safety of the species

Here’s Touki’s backstory: vm.tiktok.com/ZMeCSYySL/ Unfortunately there are breeders here in California (where it is legal to own toucans) that breed all sorts of captive exotics. I can assure you Touki was not a trafficked victim & wouldn’t be able to survive in the wild, let alone in California as they do not habitat here naturally. Being hatched in domestication & having us as his human “flock” is all he knows & loves.
