@@maplewoodstuff3644Yes, we can call it messy, but there are a lot of points here showing how Waker can exploit trading and Maromelo parry with a 5-second cooldown, which makes this run really interesting. Also, the way you micromanaged your damage in phase 3 was really smart.

@@AlexWestPlays yeah, it's 1 of the reasons that makes waker's kit and interaction to enemies unique. Since harmo's parrycounter(WA/step + NA) is reasonably weak compared to other weapons counters, harmo don't need to counter as much as other weaps. Instead, waker's focus is to manage all 5 of it's gauges which makes it possible because of hot marmparry. And thanks, micromanaging p3 was annoying and fun at the same time 😄

I'm new at using waker but I'm loving it. The problem is, i'm still confuse on when to use the Photon arts and what photon arts to use in specific situation. Does waker have any rotation to build gauges faster? Can you provide me some simple quick guide?

Usually, I just use the pa that is the opposite of spawned familiar support as my rotation. So if I got fredran support ongoing, I use wulfen pa, and vice versa. The fastest way to build gauges is to maintain lvl3 familiar support and spam raid or breathe(held locking in multiple parts). Demo and ride has many use cases, but I don't use them as often as raid/breathe. Playing waker is more than this but this is usually what I do with some adjusting to balance my wulfen and fredran gauges.

You think slayer sub is the better option now on fighter ? Like even if you were to use tenebrous as your main weapon (cant justify spending 30m cause thats what a fatale 4 is on my ship lmaoo) I was trying to do some runs with tenebrous with slay sub but found my down timings (specifically on monkey) are really off, xd Might just be i suck lol

yea sla sub is the best now with its free 5% crit. I haven't tried tenebrous since pot6 but I imagine it might not even get elem down anymore on some boss, and it didn't get that much of a potency boost so even r7 weaps is better than it lol

Think i could ask your opinion? Looking at the damage charts for current weapons we have available, would rugged citadel (so knuckles as base) be worth? Reason i ask is because the price of termina 5/fatale 5 gunblazes are disgusting on my ship lmao. Where as rugged at fat5 is like 2m. According to the chart i looked at a pot6 fat5 gunblaze is 8.6%, termina is 8.1 and rugged fat5 is 7.8 Citadel would also come with the luxury of being able to survive most hits too i guess

Rugged cit/gyr with fatale5 is still really good and cheap, along with other fatale5 7star weaps. Tbh it's hard to justify getting BIS's considering how small the upgrade they give and high their cost is compared to budget sets option.

Isn't secreta 4 better then giga might when running halph? Or is going for more potency better

Yeah secreta4 is still better than gmight4 even with halph but it's a very small difference that I just opted for gmight4 for the extra 120 hp

@@Nopenotryan yep with this set up I'm able to prevent lots of one shots. And with good RNG it can sometimes come out ahead if I get crits on high potency moves.

@@maplewoodstuff3644 so follow up question are you gonna stay with the same build when you get a neos? Cause the crit rate from tenebrous probably lets you safely get away with not running secreta right? Or do you think it won’t make a huge difference regardless

@@Nopenotryan I'll stay with same build. It's not worth it for me to sacrifice 120hp and dmg reduction for probably around <0.5% increase. I'll only go back to secreta if I go hybrid dmg type.

Man. my best time... but on the Round 1 Rank 1 version is around 32 minutes solo (considering that I barely had started to play the game back on the 1st days of October 2022 without having much idea overall of how to get the best of my gear, combos and stuff is not that bad honestly) but for sure the Round 2 version is still too early for me once I get enough battle power to be able to fight it, I think before that I'll focus at least on level up my classes and getting better gear that helps me (now that in less than a month I pretty much know how to put my leg on long or difficult fights).

Dfr2 has fixed hp that is scaled to multiplayer even on solo, so is better to fight it on multiplayer rather than solo. Also it's level 60 so you can attempt doing it as early 60, but it's way comfier to fight him at 65 and +60 armor to prevent one shots.
