If you want to get to the bottom of this matter, then you look to the Jews in the 1st century, the time era of the alleged Jesus. My college textbook, The New Testament by Stephen L. Harris says, "With one exception, no Jewish writer of the 1st or early 2nd century wrote about Jesus, or the movement named after him" (282). The exception is the fraudulent passage from Josephus. In the book, Did Jesus Exist, Bart Erhman says, "There is a Jesus, but he is different from the Jesus we know." In the book, Jesus Interrupted, Bart Ehrman tells us that Matthew says Jesus was born in 4 B.C. or earlier, and Luke says Jesus was born in 6-7 A.D. (33). So, the Jesus we do know, is not a historical person because he has 2 different birth years in 2 different time eras. In addition, Bart Ehrman tells us the Gospels are anonymous and not eyewitnesses. So, in a court of law who do you call to the witness stand? Not the Gospels. Not Josephus. Not any Jewish writer from the 1st century. In conclusion, you did not give any evidence for the Virgin Birth, Miracles, death and resurrection, and you never will. I applauded you in advanced for adhering to the con man's motto: Never drop the con tell the lie till you die.

I believe he existed. How else could these religions have come about? What I don’t believe is that he was god on earth. There is almost always some truth to mythology. He probably was a charismatic man who taught people in ways that went against the leaders of that time. The rest is all folklore

Thank you for commenting! These are genuine questions for sure. We should admit that all things have certain levels of faith built in to believe and Jesus being born of God is definitely one of them. Jesus did teach against the religious hypocrisy of his day. And they killed him because of what they called, "blasphemy". He claimed to be the Son of God, called God his Father, claimed that Isaiah was written about him, and claimed, "before Abraham was I AM". All these they hated him for it because he spoke as one literally from the Creator. My hope is that people will look at Jesus's life and ask for themselves, "who was he?" Not go to a person, a church, or a religion to learn about him...rather read and hear for yourself what he did and what he said. I will give one quote, "The enemy has come to steal, kill, and destroy but I have come to give life and life abundant." Just beautiful...Thanks for watching friend!
