I just finished reading the first prequel (The Kill Order), and it was my favorite installment so far. It has a fresh new set of characters, which personally I felt more connected to than any of the Gladers. Definitely give it a go! It may not answer all of your questions, but I think it's a fantastic read just on its own. Also, my biggest question after reading The Death Cure was, what inside knowledge did Brenda (and possibly Jorge) have that the others didn't?? I'm still mad at Thomas for refusing to gain any intel lol.

I enjoyed watching your AC tier ranking. My biggest takeaway is the desire to read Why Didn't They Ask Evans? Thank you! Other Christies I'd like to see you rank (when you read them): Peril at End House, Evil Under the Sun, Curtain, Sparkling Cyanide, A Murder is Announced (but that's a Marple). I also liked Cards on the Table, but I enjoy playing cards. We (family) saw The Mousetrap in London and absolutely loved it -- in the best sort of old-fashioned way!

Try the Crescent City series. The final book had almost the same issue as this one until you get the epilouge. There are a few loose ends (that may just be me wanting to see more of the characters though lol) but overall it ended much better

Hello, i just discovered your channel and I'm also doing the "reading a book from every country" challenge. I love how you organized everything in excel, so i wonder if by any chance you could share the excel sheet template with me 😊 i would really appreciate it. (so far i kept track of what i read in my notebook, so this would be so helpful). If you don't mind to do that, ofc. 😊 Thank you in advance. Enjoy your readings. 💚📚

Hi am planning to visit those 3 cities in coming summer but I didn’t decide in which month should I visit what do you recommend me and can you tell me accommodation and transportation facilities which is budget friendly
@heatherrobison_9 ай бұрын
We went at the end of July and it was really hot, but a lot of places weren't super crowded, so it just kind of depends on what you want. Here are the places that we stayed: Barcelona: www.expedia.com/Barcelona-Hotels-Hotel-HCC-MontBlanc.h574232.Hotel-Information?langid=1033 Valencia: www.expedia.com/Valencia-Hotels-Sweet-Hotel-Continental.h6448005.Hotel-Information?langid=1033 Madrid: www.airbnb.com/rooms/12745724?source_impression_id=p3_1713314691_R0TCssOi4oRYChwS As far as transportation, we mostly walked once we got to each of the cities. In Madrid we did get a metro card, but we didn't use it a ton. I used www.omio.com to book all of our travel between cities. Hopefully that helps.

Can I ask where you stayed while there? Is there a certain area central to all?
@heatherrobison_10 ай бұрын
We changed lodging at each new city except for the couple of day trips that took from Madrid. Overall Madrid was probably the most central place, but we definitely moved around quite a bit. I can try to find the specific hotels and airbnbs we stayed at if that would be helpful

The movies are also really good I think you'd like them better then the films and you don't have to watch the extended edition The Theoretical version is a bit shorter and you'll still get the contexts. Fellowship is the first book so it make since that it's really slow

Hahaha. Tacos is Mexican food, nothing to do with Spain. Quite curious going to Spain to eat Mexican, Italian, Chinese or Thai food. There is all of that in Madrid, of course, but those kind of restaurants are intended for the locals to change cuisines every know and then. Anyway, each his own way.

About Disney's castles, Sleeping Beauty's castle is inspired by Neuschwanstein whereas Snow Whites's is by Alcázar. If you look for the pictures you'll be able to check.

Did you have to wear masks as regulation on the train , or was it just your preference?

From Madrid, and near Segovia, you can visit el palacio de la Granja de San Idelfonso. Other 1 day trips, from Madrid, are: Ávila, Aranjuez (you can take a special train called tren de la fresa (strawberry train where there are actors playing medieval rolls and giving away strawberries), El Escorial, , Sigüenza, Monasterio de Piedra, etc By the way, in Segovia, it´s typical to eat "cochinillo" (roasted suckling). As for Córdoba (and Sevilla), they are two of the hottest cities in Spain. You can enjoy outside until lunch time, then you just stay home until it gets cooler in the afternoon/night, so it´s basicaly siesta time). Next time you visit Spain ;)

Appendices are pretty awesome. They have some backstory to the world, but also explain what happened to each member of Fellowship at the end of the lives in Middle-Earth. U can skip all the language stuff, but i highly recommend read some of the appendices.
