Agreed. Like I'm glad we got the scenes with his sister Brook later on. But yeah, we needed that closure of him meeting his real parents and just going off on them. It would've been 19's version of "You happened to me!"

People in the comments are going "it's so sweet! he doesn't get angry about the glass, he goes straight to her!" Well... firstly, she has accidentally broken a wine glass that probably came in a box of 4 and cost $10. Almost everyone would be more stressed about the broken glass they now had to pick up. Maybe, if it was from an $800 antique set from his great-grandparents. But no. These are going to be reasonable price from a store. Secondly, her hand immediately goes to her forehead, she looks like she's going to burst into tears, and she says nothing. That's not a normal reaction to accidentally smashing a glass you own. The normal reaction is annoyance at oneself for doing it, to clean it up, and possibly to curse if you're that sort of person. That's why he goes to her. Something big is obviously up.
