4:33 there, where Steve Bailey himself stages something groovy, Victor Wooten fantastically insists on it, the spark should have jumped ... but he is not, maybe at the next session ...?

i don´t understand Steve Bayleis playing, i don´t know what the hell is he playing………maybe he is ahead of my understanding, but it does´t make sense to my ears, and his sound does not help. Sorry, but i think somebody that makes lots of money out of an instrument should at least make some musical sense with it, maybe I'm wrong. Victor is ripping it, just full of funky flavor.

Same here. If you do not know them already, check out Federico Malaman (most melodic, insane chops) and Rufus Philpot (more Bebop vocabulary but played with a Rhythm)

100% agree. Victor does amazing solos then great funky chops while Bailey does his leads. Bailey does weird leads & just stands their looking lost while Victor takes the lead. Pity because 6 string fretless is the most awesome instrument. Haynes blows my mind :-)

I was just watching Rush live from'74 '75 and I remember getting All The World's A Stage and I've loved them ever since... Some of the '80s stuff was bunk... But so what. Same three guys... Forty years... And all that Neil's been through... A billion thumbs up.

Steve Bailey is not as bad as some people say. He has his own voice and that`s the most important thing for a bass player. Otherwise "The Bear" Wooten just hadn`t played with him all these fucking years!!!!!!!

Steve Bailey Does not suck in the least Bit. When two bass players are playing together they have to groove and accent each other well. Steve Bailey actually has some nice solid fingering techniques and harmonic techniques. I suggest you guys check out some of his solo vids.
