Hi dmitriy, could you please explain how the egr works as far as not taking it off? When you take the dpf off and tune it. Does the tune shut off the egr? I as this because if the tuner shuts the egr off why do you have to unplug the electrical connectors? I have a completely stock 2015 ford powerstroke and I want to get rid of the def/dpf. I do want to add a 150hp just for towing and do not hotrod my stuff. Just curios, what would you do? Thanks Troy

Cab and chasis means that it was sold from the dealer as just the cab with no truck bed in the back so it can be up fitted to a tow truck / box truck / utility truck etc so most of them are not gonna be cab and chassis.

The horror story is leaving the EGR in the tuner will not give full potential with that failed government science project in the vehicle. But if this is a 6.4 do not tune to race. Do not race the 6.4. The 6.4 with good oil and filter servicing will pull all day long for a long time. Just do not race this engine

the point of doing a EGR delete is so your truck is not recirculating the exhaust gas the way you did it it is still recirculating. the truck just doesn't know it. the reason for premature wear and why modern diesels don't last as long is because it is basically rolling coal right into the intake

I am Japanese. I need your help. I removed the DPF and made it a straight pipe. I also removed the EGR coupler. Do I need a computer to write data to the vehicle using the H&S tuner? Or can I do it with just the H&S tuner?

I just saw a thing on HS tunes- and why you shouldn’t use them. I’m new to deisels, I have a 6.4 Powerstroke that isn’t deleted yet(not until I own it) so I’m glad I happened across that video- tells me I need to do more homework. Guaranteed, I would have been that guy

@@xlevibxxx disconnect is cheaper and easy and so far has no issues. But if you plan on doing performance upgrades having too much boost might cause issues and in that case just remove the entire system off truck

Wider chesels. Work from the edges in. Even with a chunk that large you could have busted that thing down in less than an hour.

The handles on mine fell off and there is no way to fix it very cheaply made I will now have to buy a brand new one just because of the handles 😂

I have used air powered hammers and an electric one or two. The 120 volt ones are nearly worthless.

Mini max with mcc software does the job nicely. I tune all my friends rigs with the mcc software on the mini maxx v1. But I agree get ez lynk. Or efi live, hp tuners. Hp and efi have great customer service still, IV never been priveledged to use ez lynk I have an 08 Cummins, but by the looks of it. I’d say ez lynk is probably the best because of the data logger you can connect to your phone, pretty handy.

@@walkfaster It's fine on the arms and shoulders. I used it just today to remove some old bushes. The AVT technology makes it super smooth, unlike that Hercules mess. If you buy the one from Home Depot, yes, it comes with a dolly and 3 bits.

It looks like the handling bar gonna be a pain considering you have a thumb. Looks like it will make difficult to empty the loader bucket using the arm, because of thumb presence and this bar. I already made one bucket like you and it seems great tool to have

Dude. If I was you, I would fabricate a clam shell that attaches to your EX. Then lock the trigger and let the EX hold it. Cheaper than a hydro breaker and still as effective as doing it by hand. I'm going to buy one and do the same on my subcompact backhoe.

I believe cab and chassis’s have longer wheel bases different turbos and are de-tuned from the factory

@@MontanaMechanicKing "Cab and Chassis" means exactly that - A cab with no bed or tailgate. The chassis is the frame with drive train. It pronounced "chass - ee"
