Hannibal and Will's relationship can't really be described, it was manipulation, it was dark but also there was something so true... So pure about it. They were really two sides of a coin. The Chapel scenes where its like Will is Hannibal's bride walking to him, the acceptance at the end... I remember standing in my living room and just crying.

Hannibal is a hyper-empath (on the same level as Will) and quite capable of compassion. This is why Hannibal was unable to be diagnosed despite the brightest minds studying him. He simply doesn't meet any criteria at all. Hannibal is in a whole other league of killer than Villanelle.
