2817 means this code work 817 2 217 8 287 1 281 7 if there just 2-8-1-7 in that order. there is no detection for wrong order. its all therer todo it. pin is 0 when its not button you should press and its 1 when thats button you need press. so need hook 2817 buttons to reset to but NOW you need invert signal so 0 would rest and 1 would not do nothing(bcoz inverted them) and why those diodes there. just bcoz ONE made matrix and there diodes. but this works without diodes. its not matrix just buttons on row
