Hi Angelo. Thank you so much for your pro insight on so many digital pianos. I am a beginner piano player but (to my very beginner level of playing), always felt very at ease with keys and made some compositions as well. I have tried a Roland HP704 (PHA-50 keybed) and found the keybed to be very very good. Easy to play further into the white and black keys with no effort. I'm going to demo myself a P525 vs a FP90X at a local store and hopefully be able to decide between the two. My goal is to at last (at age 56), after many failed attempts to be able to learn to play the piano. Thank you for all your videos. Eduardo (from Portugal).

Hi Angelo, I know it's an old video but I'd like to know the exact model of your SubZero PA column. With the name SZPA-L688 I can only see items with a different mixer than yours: would you mind to share some info about it, please? Thank you

I actually bought this one, but I don't really like the keyboard sensitivity, so the weighted action is still a problem for me when playing classical music in my caravan. Yet I compared it with another one, the Vangoal, and this one does have a much better piano sound. What you might want to mention is that the keys are slightly smaller than on a normal piano, so this is something I did and still have to get used to when playing.... So, ok it does a job while camping, but I am still wondering whether I should not have bought a normal electric piano with a real keyboard.

Hi I need my page turner to do 4 things this is common feature. 1. Page Down/Next page, 2. Page Up/previous page, 3. Next song, 4. Previous song. a compact pedal with 4 small switches or ability to single and double tap each button would be handy. when reviewing these The biggest thing that affects the function, that people need to know, is the device and OS version 1. iPad Model and iOS version 2. Android Brand, Model and Android version.

From a pure piano sound perspective, they all disappoint. As for the action, the PHA50 in the Roland is heavy even compared to many pianos. The older Yamaha's I played on always feel somewhat artificial to me. I had an ES8 (RM3) for a short while and really didn't like the action. Casio's action is just strange. If you're looking for a true piano feel I think the MP11SE (GFA)or the new Numa X GT (Fatar TP400W)are probably the best out there. From a sound perspective, just get a good VST.

Good...PING-PONG sound. People, do you have ears? The colors of the Yamaha instruments are good, but all the instruments sound thin. Compare the sounds directly to Roland instruments, and you'll get it right away. What is the result of that? You need to put 100 instruments in a song, so that it doesn't sound hollow and empty and unmusical !!!🙃 BY THE WAY, Yamaha has been selling the same sounds for over 20 years. Listen to their Clavinova CVP-307 from 2003.

Nice video. One quick question. I’m looking to buy a digital piano for my daughter for Xmas. And I know nothing about pianos. Weighted keys seems to be a must feature. But I have also seen a mention about touch response / velocity sensitive keys. So that you can play loud and quiet depending on hard you press the keys. Does this piano have this feature?

Actually, the FP 90 X has a different piano engine than the VPiano in the phantom and the regular FP90. The X uses what they call pure acoustic modeling a brand new engine. It does still also have what they call their supernatural engine, which is most mostly samples with some sort of modeling 2 a degree.

Even with the room mic to rely on the JBL has more bite and definition which in a room full of people will matter. Pretty incredible these things. I'd never heard one until just recently, a solo guitar/singer had one in a large restaurant and the dispersion/coverage from a single JBL column was pretty wild. I was looking around for where the PA was placed.

Everyone here complains about the delay, but a lot depends on the type of connection your phone has to the car speakers. If you have a bluetooth connection, it's slower, which is why the manufacturer recommends connecting the cell phone via AUX.

Anyone recommend a piano without velocity.(sensitivity of the pressing of the key...press light =low volume, press hard=high volume)..is a major douchbag. 40 mins review on this piece of trash?

I love my Yamaha p525. it is far more expressive of an instrument than the p515 was; the action is much smoother and more responsive. it's not as deep of a keystroke, making it much easier to play rapid passages such as Chopin's 16th Prelude. I love it I recommend it to everyone it's a beautiful instrument by it you'll love it. The onboard speakers are also much improved. The reverb and VRM is more realistic too. The samples are also excellent, and the CFX lends itself especially well to music requiring subtle voicing, like Chopin, Beethoven, Mozart, et al. The overtones are gorgeous. It is however a very sensitive instrument, and it you don't possess the skillset to bring out nuance in the harmonies, you'll be frustrated. This is a piano for the pianist who has full control of the instrument. If you just bang the crap out of it, it won't sound like anything special. In summary, this is an instrument for a pianist with a sensitive ear for harmonics, and a developed technique.

You can see the corrosion on the flexis thats why you should use copper flexis. I bet the one that's corroded is the hot feed they fail first.
