£139 is a good price for a limited edition G-Shock.

I think the packaging is done for environmental reasons. I have bought a lot of G-Shocks from G-Shock UK recently and every single one had the 'green' packaging. I bought both but I imported the white one as I didn't know if G-Shock UK were getting them in. I also bought the G-5600BG-1 which was a birthday celebration for Casio and Earth Day. It has not come to the UK but it is nice and every watch is unique due to the mixing of the colour materials.

Is the watch screen is a scratch resistance?

I'm really annoyed by this, honestly. If I want a G-Shock, I'll just buy a G-Shock. I want Casio to start making innovative designs like they did in the 80s and 90s.

I have the GDB500S-8. I was honestly surprised how small it is compared to other G-Shock offerings. I honestly thought that it was a Baby G at first.

The AE-1200 is my daily driver, great watch. I've modded mine to remove all lettering apart from Casio & WR100M, which makes it look much more clean imo.

I agree with you. Previously Casio were using word illuminator for EL backlit watches but now Casio is misleading us by using it for all watches.

Is there a version with a countdown timer function?

Just got this watch, had to import it from US, as it doesn't come in the maroon color with amber LCD in Europe. Odd thing that I noticed is that the LCD contrast is so-so when looking at it directly (the watch face is perpenicular to the line of sight). However, when the watch is tilted (top tilting towards the back) it looks good. Is this a bug or a feature? I thought it might be a "feature" in newer watches (haven't bought one for ages) as usually when one is checking the time they are looking at it at an angle. I'm looking at KZbin videos of this watch but I can't tell. At the start of THIS video it looks similar to mine, but I'm not 100% sure. I thought maybe the battery was weak, but the lighting works fine (otherwise it wouldn't). I hope this is normal as shipping it was enough of an ordeal.

I got apple’s ultra 2 but five months later I was looking at G shock. Now I can’t get GBD 200 off my wrist. It took me time to decide which G shock to buy but finally GBD 200 convinced me with its amazing looks.

I got a Brand new 2100 and when I’m trying to turn dst on I press the start button and doesn’t switch from off to on, any idea why?
