The ground troops and and SAAF pilots were sold out in Angola. Sent in against the odds and expected to perform miracles, which they did. Having these and Cheetahs would have given the SADF a massive advantage. Obviously the Rooivalk didn't fly until after the war was over, but the Cheetahs could have been used. Instead they were sold to foreign buyers for profit, like most of our advanced weapons systems.

Why this tank weights 56tons, 2 tons more than ShotKal or Centurion mk10 with almost twice thicker upper glacis and side-scirts on-board while Olifant has not them both

@@debeerpaul against the latest Abrams it wouldn't stand a chance regardless of which who was in it. The first Gen Abrams maybe but the fight would still be heavily in favour of the abrams
