Maybe next time a quarter dose might work? Hooking up a sub without tops and record with a mic, that cuts everything below 100 Hz is not very impressive.

I really appreciate that you allowed us to watch you install the microphone in the shock mount. I have NO experience with sound equipment and I couldn't tell why my microphone was LOOSE in the shock mount. Now I know why. Problem solved.

The ear pads make my ears hot and sweaty in ten minutes. Just ordered some foam and velvet pads on ebay. Only $10 so not much to lose.

the pads are removable (but rare to find new replacements) the head cushions are designed for eliminating pressure on the very top of your head. sonic accuracy and build quality (although hardened plastics) are second to none! i love mine.
