Excessive eye contact here in Japan will make you seem aggressive more so than confident so be careful if it’s with people you aren’t close friends with depending on the country.

I'm cool with eye contact during introductions but I dont think looking down is neceassarily them feeling intimidated. Maybe they're becoming more comfortable with you. My rule is listener looks at the speaker and the speaker bounces their gaze around the room. I call it eye tag and I get really uncomfortable when I'm being 'talked at' vs being 'talked to'

Also another thing to add. Businesses and social media, these things are competitive. I see people fail because they try to copy someone or they seen this person do it so they go ahead and do it. But just because it worked for that person, doesn’t mean it’ll work for you. What I’m trying to say by this is, be “unique”. What attracts people and audience is something that they’ve never seen before. Be unique, be yourself, trust the process💯
