Hi. There were nine clubs who were compensated to display their layouts. All the rest were small vendors, mostly mom and pop type sellers. I don't recall seeing any corporate vendors.

Of the nine clubs on display, only one HO and one N showed up this year. Hopefully we'll see more next year. But the others were really great also, I think.

There was a prototype with 120 hp that could reach speeds of 150 mph. That sure would have been fun!

Published 1981" The Trihawk in this video was evaluated by the same engineering firm (Systems Technology, Inc): Evaluation of Tri-Hawk 3-Wheeler, P.G. Van Valkenburgh, STI Working Paper No. 2142-1. They had this to say as compared to the other vehicles they evaluated: "Generally speaking, the Tri-Hawk out-performed. all 3 wheel or 4 wheel vehicles tested. under the Ref . 1 contract"

@@thepiedcrow Thanks! The abstract says they found a 3 wheeler can handle just as well or even better than a 4 wheeler.

@@murraymadness4674 Yes, a well designed 3 wheeler can handle very well. The Trihawk was designed by legendary race car builders Bob McKee and Dick Kleber, based on F1 geometries. It handles way better than my C7.

Thank you for noticing it. I am surprised this video hasn't had more interest. We supplied a longer version of this video that also included some high school band footage (the reason the camera operator, a band dad, was there) to the curators of the Reagan library. They weren't sure if they had footage of this either and were grateful for the donation.
