This kind of shit is what will ruin a feature. Also imagine being a new breeder and this happens to you. Thank you guys for bringing this to light.

Super sorry you went through this. If we arrange an in-person pickup for a customer, we NEVER charge shipping and nor does ANY reputable breeder we have ever arranged pickup with. This includes us picking up snakes at Tinley or Daytona from breeders like KINOVA, Brock Wagner, Brad Boa, CD Constrictors, etc. IMO the seller tried to pad the price in order to compensate for it not selling as high as they wanted. Thank you for putting this out btw.

Well, wasn't this an interesting one? What I take from that whole MM auction issue is that the platform itself needs improvement. It doesn't matter who the seller is, to me, it's more of an issue with the MM auction platform. It seems as though a buyer can get taken advantage of, in this case being charged shipping when pickup was discussed. But when it comes to paying, you have to rely on the seller giving you the discussed price. Where I see the biggest issue is how easily a seller can take advantage of ignoring anything discussed in DMs due to how auction terms work and how easily a buyer can get blacklisted if they don't comply quickly enough. I hope you don't get too much drama or hate over this. I can tell you just wanted to bring awareness that people are doing this and not to specifically attack the seller you dealt with.
