A good number of ASMR massage sessions held in India is often ruined by traffic noises, no matter the channel: ASMR Barber, Nomad Barber, ASMR Champi, etc.-there will be a number of motorcycles revving or honking their horn in the background that utterly destroys any chance of enjoying some nice ASMR. Indian Barber/Tez Bhogal are a few of the exceptions though; I think they record inside a building a good distance from traffic, isolated from street sounds.

I think it's oil just for aromatherapy. It's not meant for the skin, just the scent. Rubbing it on the towl like that means the scent will waft up so he can smell it.

There's an adjacent junction which leads to the main road, where all that honking mainly is from, which doesn't get captured in the video angle. If anyone's ever been to India, or Mumbai will fully understand why the constant honking, it's how they communicate with each other 🤣
