I wonder if a 10H 9+ year ceramic coating on the vehicle body would make any difference in the cabin temperatures in addition to the nano-ceramic window film. Something I never hear anyone mention about ceramic tint advantages, is that it will protect your interior, dash pad, seats, etc from UV damage. You're not going to wind up with cracked dash pads from sun damage as quickly as with a non-protected windshield and glass. I had my entire Sorento SXL tinted. Windshield, sides, and pano sunroof. Also paint corrected, and ceramic coated.

Hello, i hope you doing good, thank you for all the tips, i am a car painter and need your opinion about this case, a hood was painted and ppf applied after 12hours of painting, the company that applied the ppf did need to peel and edge after applying the ppf, the paint did peel from that edge, from your point of view do you think applying the ppf on a 12 hours paint is not recommended and you think it is still fresh or it is okay, what is a percentage of paint peeling of a painted part after applying ppf, thank you.

Put that transition tint on a window of an older car, so that we can see the effect. Older cars usually don't have window tint, which is why people would buy tint, bonus if it is transition tint. People who can afford a newer car usually don't need to buy tint for the windows because newer cars usually have tint and rear view cameras that can see in the dark quite well. And if they did want transition window tint, they would need to remove the existing tint and replace it with the transition tint. Just need to be mindful of UV blocking window coating and/or laminate. 😉

Cool test! Adding a 1-2 min drive with windows down after parked heat build up May really change results much more in favor of tinted. First rule of cooling down anything down is exhausting the heat if possible. In real life ceramic tint is night and day from un tinted

PPF makes sense for cars that are going to hold value like certain Porsche cars, Ferrari's, Lambo's, etc. if you also keep mileage down. Putting PPF on a daily commuter makes 0 sense.

My transition glasses will not darken INSIDE a car because the factory glass blocks UV. Unless you install it on the outside of the car, it ain’t gonna work.

What's frustrating on the tint for my new plastic lens eyeglasses is the tints wear out to clear over time about a couple of years. While my glass eyeglasses I have tint that has lasted decades. I hope the new plastic tint lasts over 4 years.
